Bethenny Frankel Says Luann De Lesseps Also Lied About Her Business

Bethenny Frankel is known for speaking her mind and sharing too much information at times. And based on this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York, Bethenny is facing some serious criticism after calling out Luann de Lesseps for her sexual escapades. While Frankel was just speaking her mind after years of hearing stories, lies, and exaggerated stories, Luann wasn’t too happy about her personal life being shared on The Real Housewives of New York. Many fans were thrilled that Bethenny called out Luann for her behavior, but others thought that she crossed the line with the “slut shaming” that took place.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she wasn’t planning on “slut shaming” her co-star. In fact, she was just calling Luann out on her lies. And in a tweet, Bethenny Frankel reveals that Luann had lied about her hook-up with the Johnny Depp lookalike pirate in St. Barts, her etiquette book, and even a business venture.

“You’re the best but easy with the slut shaming!” one fan wrote to Frankel, who replied with, “It’s hypocrisy shaming. This has been 8 years, a pirate, an etiquette book, a pedophile comment, lying about biz etc. #snowball.”

Of course, Luann may not have the same kind of business success as Bethenny. Frankel has one of the most successful businesses in the Real Housewives history. Bethenny created a company that she ended up selling for a reported $100 million, and one can imagine that her co-stars are a bit jealous of her massive success. And Frankel feels that her co-stars want companies that are successful but don’t want to put in the effort. As she explained on her blog a few weeks ago, she’s worked very hard on finding the success she has today.

“The Skinnygirl Protein Shake and Bar launch. I really do work like a dog, and it is so challenging running a business and a brand. Most of it isn’t glamorous but more like a grind. It is my mission to help women in business and give them inspiration and guidance but also to not fool them into thinking you go on TV and voila you have a business,” Bethenny Frankel reveals on her blog for Bravo, revealing that none of the Real Housewives of New York stars can just go on a reality show and claim to have a business.

Throughout this season of The Real Housewives of New York, Bethenny has shared her thoughts about Sonja Morgan’s rip-off business, Tipsy Girl, which is a label that produces Prosecco. It was clear to Bethenny that Sonja was just trying to make some money by creating a product and a business that was riding her coattails. And while Frankel feels that Luann has lied about her businesses, she also feels that Morgan is delusional.

“Sonja has had: an event company, a jewelry line, toaster, nigerian football team, fashion line, and now a Prosecco–none of which have come to fruition. It is laughable but more sad. Women, this is not how it works. This is the problem when being a reality star is your actual job versus having a career the show follows. People create imaginary businesses to stay relevant,” Bethenny Frankel reveals in her blog, hinting that her co-stars are just putting their names on products in order to be a sales person.

It is definitely very interesting that Bethenny is calling out Luann for her fake business.

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s tweet, where she calls out Luann de Lesseps for all of the lies she feels the Countess has told over the years? Do you think she has a point?
