Kathryn Edwards Won’t Return To ‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ For Another Season

It turns out that one person will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season. Us Weekly shared the news that Kathryn Edwards will not be coming back to the show after just one season. Kathryn joined the cast last season and is a friend of Lisa Rinna. She is married to retired NFL star Donnie Edwards. She did have a bit of drama on the show, but Kathryn’s story line just wasn’t enough for them to keep her around.

Bravo is known for changing up the women on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and their other shows from time to time. Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia were both only on one season of the show as well. Kathryn could come back from time to time as a friend of the show if they decide they want to do it that way. Seeing that Kathryn is friends with Lisa, it is very possible they would have her show up at a party or two.

Back in May, Kathryn Edwards wrote her last blog about the show. At the time, it sounded like Edwards really enjoyed her season on the show.

“I’ve had fun and have made some valued friendships. I’ve enjoyed meeting a lot of people who have approached me while I’m out and about, and I’ve taken so much from the people who have shared their stories that parallel my own.”

At this time, Bravo and Kathryn Edwards are both staying quiet about her leaving the show. Fans would love to hear it straight from her, but Kathryn hasn’t decided to share her thoughts just yet. She hasn’t been on Twitter at all today, but she will probably post her thoughts on a social network soon.

There is some talk that Sydney Holland, a movie producer and the ex-girlfriend of Viacom mogul Sumner Redstone, could end up on the show next season, but this has not been confirmed yet. They will have to find someone to replace Kathryn Edwards, though.

The Hollywood Reporter shared about how Sydney Holland is hoping to get a spot on the show. This news came out before Kathryn was fired, which means that Sydney now has a perfect spot open for her. After she was introduced by Millionaire Matchmaker star Patti Stanger, Holland began dating Redstone. Patti is known for setting up rich couples. She was given million dollars in gifts and Sydney bought real estate with this money.

Sydney Holland does have a strange backstory as she was kicked out of the Redstone’s Beverly Park estate for allegedly cheating with an actor she was spotted out with around town. If Sydney was to join the show, she would have a very interesting story that fans would like to hear. So far, there has been nothing confirmed either way, but they will be looking for someone to fill the spot of Kathryn Edwards.

Last season, they got rid of both Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards. It doesn’t look like there is any chance that Glanville will be returning, but there has been a bit of talk about Kim Richards coming back to the show again now that she is sober. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do now that Kathryn Edwards is gone.
