Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows To Premiere June 3 With Star-Studded Cast


Paramount Pictures’ and Nickelodeon Movies’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows premieres in theaters on June 3, 2016. It is an American 3D science fiction action comedy, which is the sequel to 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The sequel had a budget of $135,000,000 and was directed by Dave Green and written by screenwriters Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello.

This PG-13 movie is over 112 minutes of action packed turtle and villain battles.

Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello have a situation with Dr. Baxter Stockman and the reappearance of antagonist Shredder. The Turtles find a way to become humans after an extraterrestrial invasion. Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello team with rough-around-the-edges vigilante Casey Jones. Meanwhile the turtles’ human friends April O’Neil, Vern Fenwick, and their master, Splinter, all join forces to deal with Krang’s invasion.

“First of all, I wanted to do something that my son could see and something that he would be proud of one day.”

Brian Tee from Variety states the following.

“When the first movie (1990’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’) came out, I remember going to the theater with my junior high friends, literally chanting ‘turtles, turtles, turtles’ during a prime sequence, and the audience jumping in with us,” Tee told Variety. “It’s one of my fondest memories. I loved it so much, and I actually went as Shredder for Halloween a couple of times, so to be able to play him now is a childhood dream come true.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows promises to provide viewers with many minutes of excitement, anticipation, and enjoyment!
