Jenelle Evans Wants To Ditch MTV, But Would People Watch Her Own Show?

Jenelle Evans has been on Teen Mom for years, and she knows that the Teen Mom viewers are very vocal about their feelings. For years, Jenelle has continued to mess up, and she’s been arrested so many times that fans are losing count.

But Evans has desperately tried to get her life back on track, as she’s gone to school, gotten an education, and is trying to solve her health issues on the show. And despite the many things she’s done over the past couple of months, she believes that MTV just wants to show the bad things she does.

According to a new tweet, Jenelle Evans lashed out at the MTV network this week and hinted that she would probably be better off creating her own show, where she can showcase the positive things that are happening in her life. Rather than MTV showing all of the negative stuff, she wants to highlight the positive things.

“I should start my own show where you guys see no negativity but just positive vibes. #NextProject #YouTubeSeries #GoPro,” Jenelle Evans revealed on social media, sharing that she could be done with Teen Mom because she’s tired and frustrated over the negative portrayal.

But if Jenelle was to leave Teen Mom, would her YouTube show really be a success? Well, the reality is that people aren’t just tuning in to follow her story. They tune in because they want to see the stories of Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer, and Kailyn Lowry as well. And based on her tweet about doing her own show, people encouraged her to focus on her children instead of her television success.

“It’d be super cool if Jenelle’s #NextProject was putting her children’s needs before her own,” one person wrote, while another responded, “If you don’t want us to see negativity, don’t do negative things. Stop getting arrested. Stop yelling in front of your kids. Stop yelling and cussing at your mom. Treat her with respect. Stop hitting people with cups. Start acting like an adult.”

The idea of launching her own show surfaced earlier this week after Jenelle lashed out at MTV on Twitter. Evans was convinced that the editors wanted to make her the villain of the show, editing her story to look like a train wreck rather than a supportive story of change. And Evans is convinced that the MTV director in charge of the show doesn’t like her one bit.

US Weekly caught many of her tweets.

“I’m pretty convinced @MTV constantly wants to make me look like the most horrible mother ever,” Jenelle Evans previously revealed in a tweet, according to US Weekly. “Doesn’t show a damn positive thing for my story.”

Evans has really tried to change her ways over the past couple of years. She recently settled her custody issue with Nathan Griffith over Kaiser, and she could be thinking about pursuing full custody of Jace even though her mother isn’t willing to give him up.

“And this season and this upcoming ones were suppose to be really nice and smooth towards the end but of course if @MTV hires a director that judges you, hates you, and wants to make you look out to be bad… They will do it. They hold all power in the edit room,” Evans revealed, adding, “You would think they would have shown by now how I’ve been trying to get Jace back for over a year, or how many great times we’ve had.”

What do you think of Jenelle Evans doing her own show? Do you think she would be able to find success with her own YouTube show, or do you think she would miss the Teen Mom paycheck?
