Are ‘Teen Mom 2’ Stars Kailyn Lowry And Javi Marroquin Getting Back Together? He Just Mentioned Her On Instagram
Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry announced she and Javi Marroquin were getting a divorce last month, but could they ultimately decide to reconcile?
Earlier this year, Kailyn Lowry revealed she and Marroquin were planning a family vacation to the Disney Beach Club Resort when Marroquin arrived home from his current deployment in Qatar. And while she has since removed her Instagram announcement, Marroquin’s latest post seems to hint that there may be room for a possible reunion.
“His momma keeps him stylish @kaillowry,” Marroquin wrote on Instagram on June 1 along with a photo of his and Kailyn Lowry’s 2-year-old son, Lincoln.
Immediately after the photo was shared, fans began weighing in on the possibility of the couple working out their issues before truly calling it quits.
However, around the same time, Kailyn Lowry posted a Twitter message that seemed to shoot down any possible chance at a reunion.
In the retweet, a message read, “Sometimes when you love someone you have to let them go. Especially if it’s in their best interest.”

Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin tied the knot in 2012, and in 2013, they celebrated their nuptials with a large ceremony in Camden, New Jersey (this is why many outlets are reporting that the pair has been married for just two years when they have actually been married for three). Then, less than two months after the ceremony, Kailyn Lowry welcomed their son, Lincoln.

Kailyn Lowry first confirmed her divorce from Marroquin to the Daily Mail on May 24 during an outing in Dover, Delaware, where she lives with her family. As for why the couple split, a sneak peek of next week’s Teen Mom 2 suggests the final straw was Lowry’s decision to halt any plans to have more children.
During a conversation on FaceTime, Kailyn Lowry told her husband that she felt their marriage was “up in the air.” He, however, felt much differently.
“I don’t feel like anything is up in the air,” he fired back, according to a May 31 report by Radar Online. “I feel like everything is where it needs to be. We texted and we talked about our future. There is no future.”
Was it Marroquin who ultimately chose to end their marriage? It is hard to say, but this scene certainly hints that it wasn’t Kailyn Lowry’s decision.
“You don’t want to be with me because I don’t want to have more kids,” Lowry alleged.
“That’s a big reason why we’re not going to work… Your excuse is bulls**t,” Marroquin admitted.
“The fact that it’s so f**king hard to have two kids by myself and go to school. Imagine if I have a third kid? I want to be working full time,” Kailyn Lowry responded.
Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin attempted to have a third child at the end of last year after struggling with marital issues throughout Teen Mom 2 Season 6, but sadly, Kailyn Lowry’s pregnancy ended in miscarriage, which was briefly discussed on the show’s seventh season.
Prior to Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin’s split, they often hinted at the possible end of their relationship on Twitter, but despite the ongoing rumors regarding their impending divorce, Kailyn Lowry chose to stay silent about the issue for several months.
