Selena Gomez ‘Happy To Forget About Justin Bieber’ During Tour After Hailey Baldwin Relationship Drama

With Selena Gomez being on the road in support of her biggest album to date, the singer has certainly kept herself busy — so much that reports allege she’s beginning to forget about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

Reports allege that Selena barely thinks about Justin these days — she’s so caught up with the tour and the endless rehearsals that when she’s not onstage performing to thousands of fans, she’s most likely found asleep.

And sources say that the break that she has taken from Bieber is definitely doing her good — her career is soaring with endless Billboard charting songs, her tour is selling out in every state, and she’s already back in the studio working on her follow-up record to Revival.

All in all, things couldn’t get any better for the former Disney Channel actress, a source reveals. “Selena is busy and enjoying being on tour, she loves not having to miss Justin, she loves not having to be bored and text Justin to pass the time,” one insider tells Hollywood Life. “She loves that she doesn’t have to keep tabs on him because she would always watch out for what he was doing while she was not working.”

While the duo is no longer in a relationship, it was believed that Selena and Justin were still keeping in touch, often texting throughout the day on what they were both up to. Things did get more complicated for the two, however, when Justin ended up falling in love with Hailey Baldwin — their friendship allegedly turned sour and Selena was no longer interested in keeping in touch with Justin.

Gomez reportedly didn’t approve of Bieber’s relationship with Baldwin, presumably because she had imagined herself getting back with the 22-year-old herself. So, for the most part, Selena doesn’t exactly know where she stands with Justin anymore — especially with reports now alleging that Justin and Hailey are no longer together.

It’s been a constant back-and-forth battle as far as Justin Bieber is concerned, so the fact that Selena Gomez can simply focus all of her energy on her tour and her fans are pretty much the ultimate revival strategies for the 23-year-old, especially when considering the fact that this is the first time that Gomez has more or less neglected anything related to her ex-boyfriend.

“She loves being busy and enjoying tour life and just being completely out of Justin’s radar. It has been a pretty nice and therapeutic,” the source concluded, insinuating that Selena’s decision to take a break from Justin and no longer communicate with him could potentially turn into a permanent thing.

Following the Revival Tour, Gomez is hoping to be close to completing her forthcoming album, which she’s currently believed to be recording while on the road.

And while Revival very much focused on heartbreak and relationship drama — allegedly based on her own experiences with Justin Bieber — the next record is expected to shift its attention to other topics. This is mainly because if Selena is already distancing herself from Justin, the last thing she’d want to do is sing about him on her new album.
