Gigi Hadid Dumped By Zayn Malik For The ‘Rockstar Lifestyle’?
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been plagued by breakup rumors in recent weeks, and although the 21-year-old model recently shared a photo of a home cooked meal, presumably made for her by Malik, the photo didn’t do much to silence the ongoing reports of a split.
Following claims of a breakup earlier this month, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been dealt with another round of split rumors, the latest of which claims they are no longer in contact with one another.
“[Gigi Hadid] has cut all communication with Zayn and refuses to answer his calls and texts,” a source told Life & Style magazine for their June 13 issue, according to a report by Hollywood Life on June 1. “She blocked his number.”

According to the report, Gigi Hadid’s boyfriend of several months decided he suddenly wanted to “live the rockstar lifestyle” as opposed to being in a committed relationship. In turn, Gigi Hadid was reportedly left “on the edge about the smallest things.”
And while friends of Gigi Hadid have been urging the model to get back to dating, she’s reportedly been unreceptive to the idea.
“[Gigi Hadid]’s told friends and family she’s not ready to see other people yet,” the source explained.
Adding insult to injury for Gigi Hadid was reportedly an incident in which the former One Direction singer was spotted with another blonde woman during their relationship.
“When she saw pictures of him with another woman, her sadness turned to anger. She feels betrayed,” a source explained.

Life & Style‘s report regarding Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s alleged split comes just one day after a source claimed they were cooling things off after reaching a rocky point in their relationship, which was likely due to the distance between them.
“Things between Zayn & Gigi are not entirely over, they are just cooling off,” a source close to the couple told Hollywood Life on May 31. “Zayn still has very strong feelings for Gigi. He has a lot of passion for her as she has been an inspiration to him since the day they met. However, they are not spending much time together lately and are not hanging out as much as they once were.”
While Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik attended the Met Gala in New York City together early last month, they have only been seen together one time since, and that outing took place just days after the fashion event.
“Their schedules with work have both kept them busy and away from each other,” the source explained. “They are not completely over yet, but instead are taking space from each other and not entirely on purpose, that’s just how things are between them right now. ”
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik faced breakup rumors at the end of last month which claimed the singer had moved on from the romance two weeks after celebrating Gigi Hadid’s 21st birthday. According to a Life & Style report at the time, via Hollywood Life, Malik called it quits with Gigi Hadid over dinner.
As the source explained, Malik informed Gigi Hadid that he wanted to “keep his options open” as he continued on with his solo career, which reportedly came as a complete shock to Gigi Hadid, who believed they were the “perfect couple.”
Gigi Hadid began her relationship with Zayn Malik at the end of last year after dating singers Joe Jonas and Cody Simpson months prior.
