Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan’s Paths After One Direction Are Looking Clear

There have been conflicting reports about what Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne of One Direction will be doing during the band’s hiatus.

One man claims to know the answer — Dan Wootton of The Sun states in a new article that he has spoken to Sony and One Direction insiders and found the scoop about what Niall, Harry, Louis, and Liam will be doing in the next months and years.

It’s not all good news for One Direction fans — Wootton states with confidence that he thinks the band will not reunite.

“Well, sadly for fans of the band they’re not getting back together — but today I can reveal the top-secret plans of all four members.”

This contradicts previous reports that the band will be on hiatus for two years, tops. Even Simon Cowell spoke out recently saying that he believes One Direction will reunite, according to Seventeen.

“Simon Cowell is all over the place when it comes to whether or not One Direction will reunite.”

Cowell’s new statement that 1D will be back followed months of hemming and hawing about the issue, so it was a double surprise when Simon finally said they will reunite, only to have Sun columnist Wootton (who is believed to be connected to Cowell professionally) turn around and say that they will not.

Wootton goes on to say that Louis Tomlinson will be focusing on television from now on and that Tomlinson has even signed to James Grant, the same agency that manages Ant and Dec in the UK.

Apparently, Louis still wants to be involved in music, but he developed a taste for TV when he appeared as a judge on America’s Got Talent.

“Louis is very interested in the world of TV.”

Fans will not necessarily be seeing Louis Tomlinson’s handsome face on screen every time — Louis is interested in working both behind the scenes and in front of the camera.

“He is considering opportunities both in front of the camera, including documentaries, and behind-the-scenes as a producer… He is still going to be involved in music through his record company and was recently back in the studio writing. But it’s unlikely he’ll be recently a solo record in the near future… He was a guest judge on America’s Got Talent recently and did a brilliant job.”

Niall Horan, who has been quiet during the hiatus, will actually be the first One Direction member to release solo music, if Wootton is to be believed.

Some One Direction fans will be sad to hear that Niall plans to keep his ties with Simon Cowell, signing to the Syco label. Insiders who have heard Niall’s material reportedly believe that there is a definite hit single in there.

“He has the songwriting and music talent, good looks and cheeky Irish personality which made him a favourite in the States. A deal with Syco is going to be signed in the coming weeks and Niall is already back in the studio writing….There’s a hit single there too, which will probably be released early next year.”

Harry Styles is being managed out of the U.S. by Jeff Azoff, who is the son of industry legend Irving Azoff and a good friend of Harry’s. The friends broke away from Irving’s company to found a new one owned by Jeff, with Harry as the first signed act.

Liam Payne, meanwhile, is said to be the only 1D member who has not decided on a new management company or selected a clear path, though he is very much in love with girlfriend Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and enjoying the break, Wootton reports.

“But out of all the lads, [Liam] was the one who really needed to switch off entirely from the world of showbiz.”

Payne is said to be in talks with management companies and considering working out of America.
