Kate Hudson’s Skincare Regimen Is Intense, But Her Workout Isn’t

Kate Hudson is opening up and sharing some of her beauty secrets for the summer. In case you didn’t know, the actress is on Snapchat and divulging on the things that make her look so good.

Kate Hudson and her brother, Oliver, took to Snapchat to discuss the topic of aging and how it’s different for men and women. Kate claimed that her skincare routine is very important to her and pointed out that her brother looks “so embarrassing with his leathery skin.” She then remarked that he looks much older than she does. Oliver didn’t mind having his sister poke fun at him. The two wanted to point out the difference on how men and women view the aging process.

Kate thing took things further when she pulled out a pair of high-tech under-eye patches that she claims work. She also told her fans that although they are painful, they make her puffy under-eye circles go away in a snap. The device looks like something that would be used in a sci-fi movie to torture someone. It features two under-eye patches connected to wires that lead to a remote control.

While using it on Snapchat, Kate Hudson remarked, “I am in so much pain.”

Kate took to Snapchat yet again to pull out an LED Infrared Light Therapy Face Mask that she uses to prevent breakouts, boost collagen, and reduce inflammation. Then Kate got a bit off-topic and remarked on how much she loves Snapchat’s filter due to their ability to make everyone look good – even when you’re not wearing makeup.

However, Hudson is not the first actress to use the LED facial on social media. Chrissy Teigen and Kourtney Kardashian are big fans of the treatment, reports InStyle. Last year, Jessica Alba posted an Instagram clip of her using a similar-looking device, which looked like something out of a horror film.

While Kate Hudson’s skincare regimen looks intense, her workout routine is pretty simple. She’s known for her flat abs, sculpted arms, and long lean legs. Kate has also used her passion for fitness by becoming the co-founder of Fabletics. In their style section, the brand has shared seven super simple ways to achieve Hudson’s incredible body.

  1. Work out 20 minutes each day by walking, jogging, or dancing.
  2. Kate credits Pilates for her fit and fabulous body. It helps strengthen and lengthen the body by focusing on small portions of muscles with repetitive moves.
  3. Enjoy your workouts so that you’re not dreading it every day. Go on a hike, or ask your friend to work out with you.
  4. Snack on healthy options such as avocados, leafy greens, olive oil, and sesame seeds that are filled with healthy fats and nutrients that will keep you full throughout the day.
  5. Remember, everything in moderation. You can have a cheat day every so often.
  6. Drink eight glasses of water per day.
  7. Every season, detox your body with an elimination cleanse or juice detox. “But don’t go crazy – cleansing is never about starving yourself, but rather balancing the body and preparing it for a healthier, cleaner you.”

Earlier this month, Hudson was seen gracing the July 2016 cover of Shape Magazine. The 37-year-old is seen wearing a blue-and-white striped bikini top and blue strappy bikini bottoms. Inside the pages of the magazine, Hudson is photographed wearing various neon swimsuits.

Hudson says that even she needs to work out hard at times. She even opened up about her love for Pilates, which she discovered when she was just 19.

“I was 19 when I discovered Pilates, and I’m still doing it. It’s the workout my body really responds to. It’s all about alignment, elongating your spine and strengthening your core. It makes me feel my strongest. Pilates is always challenging. The advanced moves are amazing, but so hard. I also love TRX because it’s similar to Pilates in that you use your own body weight. But for me, Pilates is the best.”

When she’s not doing Pilates, Kate loves to do intense workouts like boxing, or she’ll use workout apps like QE2, Hot5, and Sworkit.
