Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom Divorce: New Overdose Details Surface

As Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom prepare to finalize their divorce, new details have surfaced regarding his time at a legal brothel in Nevada, where he overdosed in October of last year.

While Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom appeared to be ready to reconcile after she flew to Las Vegas to be with him after his overdose, they have since parted ways and Kardashian recently refiled for divorce. Meanwhile, as Keeping Up With the Kardashians continues to chronicle Odom’s overdose and the fallout that came after, Richard Hunter, an employee of Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch, has spoken out.

In a new interview, Hunter claimed he is still haunted by what was nearly Odom’s final moments of life.

Over 6 months after Odom nearly died of a drug overdose, Hunter, who handles publicity for The Love Ranch, revealed to Radar Online that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have not thanked him or contacted him at all for calling 911 after finding him unresponsive.

According to Hunter, he can’t enter Odom’s VIP suite without “vividly reliving the moment he thought Odom was going to die in his arms,” he told Radar. As Hunter attempted to move Odom’s “rubbery,” lifeless body onto its side in an effort to clear his clogged airways, he reportedly thought to himself, “I am going to watch this guy die alone out here.”

In addition to making it possible for Odom to breathe, Hunter aided 3 medics in transferring Odom from his bed to an ambulance, which took him to a nearby hospital where he remained in a coma for 3 days.

Hunter also spoke of his frustrations with the public portrayal that his venue is a drug house. He also hopes Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will eventually apologize for reportedly speaking ill of the establishment.

As for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s divorce, news broke of Kardashian’s re-filing earlier this month, over 3 years after her initial documents to end her marriage were filed. And while Kardashian hasn’t directly spoken out about her filing, Hollywood Life claimed on May 26 that she’s hinted at the reason behind her filing a number of times on social media and in interviews.

“I think women in general are ‘fixers.’ We like to fix people, but not everyone can be fixed — or even wants to be fixed,” Khloe Kardashian recently wrote on Instagram. “People need to heal themselves on their own timeline, and the sad thing is, sometimes we do have to ‘cut ourselves’ on someone else to see that. Just because someone is broken doesn’t mean it’s our responsibility to glue them back together.”

In another message, Khloe Kardashian added, “A girl once told me to be careful when trying to fix a broken person for you may cut yourself on their shattered pieces.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom tied the knot in September in 2009 but parted ways in 2013 amid rumors of drug use and infidelity. Then, after several attempts at mending her marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013. Since then, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have remained in contact, so when Odom overdosed, his wife immediately flew to be with him and has been close ever since as his recovery continues in Los Angeles.
