Sebastian Bach Gets Into The Worst Twitter War Ever With William Shatner

Sebastian Bach has engaged in a confusing Twitter war with a TV legend. The former Skid Row frontman exchanged testy tweets with William Shatner over the holiday weekend, and fans are trying to figure out what it was all about. MetalSludge posted a transcript of Sebastian Bach’s Twitter exchange, which shows that some of William Shatner’s tweets were deleted.

Sebastian Bach spewed a few choice words at Shatner after the 85-year-old inexplicably sent him an emoji of a purple devil face.

The exchange quickly took a strange turn when Bach called Shatner a “d**khead” and posted the actor’s Studio City address, promising him, “I will see you at your home.”

“I will run past your f**king house every day until the day I die. Deal with me with your phaser cell phone bulls**t,” Bach wrote.

Shatner seemed thoroughly confused, but then chalked things up to Bach maybe having a bad day.

“I don’t know what to think of it but hopefully he’s just having a bad day and tomorrow he’ll be fine,” William wrote of Sebastian.

Sebastian Bach also referred to William Shatner as “emoji man” after the actor sent him a purple devil and exasperated smiley face emojis.

“I will run over to your house on the 13th. Perfect day for it. See you soon emoji man,” Sebastian wrote.

He later added, “Maybe better for you to stick behind your computer screen.”

Fansided posted a recap that gives a bit more insight into Sebastian Bach’s exchange with William Shatner. At one point, Bach asked Shatner if he was the guy from Star Trek, to which the actor, who famously played Captain Kirk on the sci-fi classic, joked that he must be thinking of Mark Hamill. Later, Shatner feigned surprise that Sebastian Bach was on the show Gilmore Girls.

“The guy in Rory’s friend’s band! Of course!” William wrote.

William Shatner replied to confused fans’ comments by telling them that Sebastian sounded like he was having a bad night so maybe it would be better to stop interacting with him. William even suggested to Sebastian that maybe he should unfollow him on Twitter.

Of course, Sebastian Bach and William Shatner have met and joked around before, so the bizarre exchange appears to have started out in good fun and then just went off the rails. Shatner tried to explain that he wasn’t playing devil’s advocate when he sent the devil emoji to Sebastian Bach. Both stars are very active Twitter users, and Sebastian’s social media spat with William could even be a big joke.

Sebastian Bach previously interviewed William Shatner (video is posted below), so they have a history together. In fact, Bach was a major fanboy when he interviewed the legendary actor on the Golden Gods “black carpet” in 2011, telling him he has been looking up to him since he was a little kid. Shatner was presented with the Honorary Headbanger Award at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards that year.

While some fans criticized Sebastian Bach for picking a Twitter fight with 85-year-old William Shatner (one commenter called it elder abuse), the rocker has never shied away from a social media war. In the past, Sebastian has gotten into it with gun advocates over U.S. gun laws, and he has also gone head to head with fellow rocker Motley Crue founder Nikki Sixx.

More recently, Sebastian Bach slammed a blogger on Twitter who gave his solo show a bad review. Still, nothing beats Bas’ battle with Captain Kirk. Stay tuned, as there is undoubtedly more to come.
