Selena Gomez Thrills Fans In Sexy Styles, Stars In Netflix Film: Justin Bieber Takes Gal Pal To Jelena Hot Spot [Video]

Selena Gomez has been treating fans to increasingly sexy styles and thrilling performances on her Revival Tour. And they’re responding with delight, to the point where the 23-year-old singer had to stop her performance because she was so overcome, noted Yahoo News.

As she sang “Who Says” recently, fans in the audience raised signs that spelled out “We Are Worth It.” The event caught Selena by surprise, causing her to halt singing to hold back tears.

Both fans and Gomez have been enjoying another aspect of her Revival Tour, which is all about reviving her style from Disney girl to warrior princess. Taking to Instagram, Selena shared her excitement when she discovered the newest (and sexiest) costumes for her tour.

“When I see my new costumes for stage – comin sooooon,” she teased in the caption.

And for those who can’t catch Gomez on tour, stay tuned to Netflix. The singer stars with Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts in a Netflix movie which was a hit at Sundance, The Fundamentals of Caring, described by Digital Spy as a “road trip drama.”

The film takes its plot from a 2012 novel by Jonathan Evison, The Fundamentals of Caring. The just-released trailer (check it out below) is already garnering buzz. Rudd plays the role of Ben, who takes on the task of caregiving for the first time when he has a client (played by Roberts) with muscular dystrophy named Trevor.

Selena plays the character of a hitchhiker named Dot, who encounters Ben and Trevor when they take a cross-country road trip. Others starring in the Rob Burnett-directed movie are Jennifer Ehle and Megan Ferguson.

Netflix purchased The Fundamentals of Caring this year following its success at the Sundance Film Festival. The streaming service has a roll call of movies chosen to expand its viewership, including one from Brad Pitt. Audiences can start streaming The Fundamentals of Caring on June 24 on Netflix.

When it comes to a real-life example of caring, however, Gomez just demonstrated by taking time from her busy tour schedule to visit sick children at Boston Children’s Hospital, reported People.

Visiting Boston to perform during her Revival Tour, Selena used her day off to play music with the patients and just spend time with them to brighten their day.

“I have a show in Boston… here, tomorrow. I never know where I am because I’m always on tour,” laughed Gomez to the patients. “But I have the day off so I figured I’d come and say ‘Hi!'”

Some children were forced to remain in their hospital beds during her visit, so the singer went to them, donning a protective gown and gloves. A fan expressed appreciation for what it meant to her brother on Twitter.

And an appreciative mom, Carrie Almeida, who has a daughter at the hospital, gushed her gratitude.

“You are exactly what I had hoped and pictured in my mind. You made sure to look each child in the eye and give them time. Such a simple gesture meant so much.”

But Gomez didn’t neglect her fans in Boston who flocked to her performance. Flaunting her sleek physique in Daisy Dukes, Selena posed for a thrilled crowd, noted the Daily Mail.

Fans showed their love with signs.

“Selena I love you like a Love Song,” read one sign.

“We (heart) Selena,” gushed another.

As for matters of the heart, however, Selena hasn’t been quite so successful. After a lengthy off-again-on-again relationship with Justin Bieber, Gomez still has fans who want to see the revival of Jelena (Justin + Selena). But the Biebs just broke the hearts of Jelena fans by taking a new gal pal to the same restaurant that he and Selena frequented, according to Hollywood Life.

Gomez and Justin used to go to Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills when they were a couple. But now Bieber has taken his new girlfriend, Nicola Peltz, to the same Jelena hot spot.

In 2015, during one of the periods when they were rekindling their romance, Selena and Justin rented out that restaurant to have an intimate evening together. They also frequently dined there prior to going to the movies.
