Anne Hathaway Slams James Corden For His Weight, Admits She Was Insulted By Personal Trainer At Her Gym

Anne Hathaway’s acting skills have been once again questioned, according to the Daily Mail. And this time, it was talk show host James Corden who was brave enough to mock the 33-year-old The Dark Knight Rises actress for her lack of acting abilities.

In particular, the English talk show host criticized Anne Hathaway for her “awful British accent” in the 2011 film One Day. The two exchanged rather insulting quips about one another as part of The Late Late Show‘s Drop The Mic segment. The goal of the segment is to attack your opponent with a street style rap off.

At first, Corden said the only Catwoman he acknowledges is Halle Berry. Shocked, but not so much surprised, Anne Hathaway responded with critique toward the talk show host’s rhymes, adding that they are just as weak as his show’s ratings.

Naturally, no talk show host likes it when people tell them anything bad about their ratings, which is why he went on to call her British accent in One Day “awful.” Then Corden recalled the 2011 Academy Awards, which was so terribly hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco.

Then Anne Hathaway got even more harsh, mocking Corden’s clothes and weight and asking if he had an allergy “to wearing suits that fit.”

“You look like a KFC bucket with a lot of extra breast. You’re more full of sh*t than a kitty litter box.”

And that’s when Corden admitted that it was actually too mean for Anne Hathaway to say all those things. But then the 37-year-old The Late Late Show host bent over and asked his guest to kiss his “f***ing ass.”

It appears that not only regular fitness trainers can sometimes be too harsh, but even Hollywood trainers can tell you that you need to drop “that” extra weight. And it doesn’t even matter that you are Anne Hathaway or that you’ve just delivered a baby, according to Australian News.

During her guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’s daytime talk show, Anne Hathaway told a story that happened to her during one of her visits to her West Hollywood gym shortly after she gave birth. By the way, Hathaway delivered a baby just two months ago, and she does look great!

But that’s not what this Hollywood trainer told her when he approached her asked if she has been working out at the gym for a long time. And Anne Hathaway’s initial thought was that this trainer was hitting on her and obviously she was flattered.

“I feel really good about myself and I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah I’ve been coming here for a little bit.’ He’s like, ‘Cool, I’m a trainer here and just wondering if you want some pointers.’ “

And that’s when Anne Hathaway realized the trainer was actually trying to get himself a new client, but then eventually The Intern actress said she is a new mom. And obviously, when women say this they are expecting people to compliment them on the fact that they look great. And it doesn’t even matter if it’s true, Hathaway admitted.

“If somebody says, ‘I had a baby 13 years ago’ you say, ‘You look great!’ That is what you do, that is the etiquette.”

But when Anne Hathaway revealed to the trainer she had a baby just recently, his immediate response was, “Oh, trying to lose the baby weight?” And that was definitely not a response that she found flattering. But Hathaway remained cool, saying that it was too soon for her to worry about weight.

” ‘I’m just trying to regain my strength.’ And he walked away, and I cried a little bit.”
