Johnny Depp Feared Amber Heard Was Cheating With Cara Delevingne Prior To Abuse Allegations [Report]

According to reports, prior to Amber Heard filing for divorce and accusing husband Johnny Depp of domestic abuse, Johnny was allegedly worried that Amber may have been having an affair with model and actress Cara Delevingne while also getting “too close” to iO Tillett Wright.

An insider claimed to the Sun this week that Johnny supposedly felt that Amber was “making a fool of him” through her close relationship with Cara and alleged that Depp was being “driven insane” by suspecting that the two could have been having an affair during his and Amber’s 15-month marriage.

“Amber’s friendship with Cara, which grew closer and closer over time, brought about the beginning of the end for her marriage to Johnny,” an insider close to Depp told the Sun amid Amber’s divorce filing.

According to the source who spoke out to the site, Amber and Cara’s relationship “sparked furious rows” between Heard and Depp because the actor supposedly “hated how indiscreet” Heard was being when getting “flirty” with Delevingne. “They were constantly partying hard going out and enjoying themselves,” the source said.

The insider alleged that Amber and Cara’s closeness once caused so much friction between Heard and Depp that Johnny allegedly once screamed “You’re making a fool of me!” at Heard.

“They used to party together a lot and made no attempt to hide the fact that they were quite flirty,” the Sun‘s source continued, claiming that Johnny was never exactly Cara’s biggest fan.

“It didn’t help that Johnny couldn’t stand Cara. He found her obnoxious and disrespectful and would ask his staff to warn him when she was going to be around,” the Sun‘s insider noted. “It was the friendship with her that really started to drive Johnny insane.”

According to People, Amber Heard claimed in court documents filed last week that Johnny Depp had “been verbally and physically abusive” to her throughout their marriage, though Cara was notably not named in the court documents.

However, the site did claimed that Heard noted in the documents that, during one particularly serious incident between herself and Depp, Johnny “began obsessing about something that was untrue” and became “extremely angry” with her.

But while it’s thought that Heard did not explicitly reveal what that “something” was that caused Depp to “obsess,” another of Amber’s friends, iO Tillett Wright, was named in the documents as Amber claimed that Johnny supposedly started verbally abusing iO before Heard claimed he then threw a phone at her.

Amber Heard alleged in her statement that “Johnny ripped the cell phone from my hand and began screaming profanities and insults at iO.”

“I heard iO yell at me to get out of the house. Johnny then grabbed the cellphone, wound up his arm like a baseball pitcher and threw the cellphone at me striking my cheek and eye with great force,” Amber claimed.

A source alleged to the Sun that iO was supposedly another reason why Heard and Depp’s marriage broke down, as iO was “another person who’s been very close to Amber” that Depp reportedly thought Heard “had been much too close to her for comfort” during their 15-month marriage.

“They hang out a lot and confide in each other and he seemed to resent the fact iO played a big part in Amber’s life as the two of them were struggling,” the insider continued to the site. “That was another thing that riled Depp up quite a lot.”
