Lisa Vanderpump Pushing Yulin Agenda Too Hard?

Lisa Vanderpump has often talked about the Yulin festival on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her passion for putting an end to it. On this past season of the show, Lisa revealed that she had plans to create a march for all of those who supported her. Many of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars and celebrity friends took part in the march, and she hoped to send a message to the coordinators of the festival. But it sounds like her agenda to stop this festival may be too much for her Twitter followers, who are now seeing horrid images of these dogs on her timeline.

According to a new tweet, Lisa Vanderpump isn’t holding back when it comes to sharing images of abandoned or abused dogs. But sadly, some of her followers are not too happy with her decision to do so.

“We all agree with you but please stop posting these photos — just ruined my memorial day,” one person wrote to Lisa, who replied with, “sorry to ruin your day.”

Before this tweet was sent out to Lisa, she had shared some pictures of dogs desperately trying to get out of scolding hot water. The dogs appear to have been shaven, and the image text reveals that there’s a belief that the dogs will taste better due to the adrenaline they experience during this time. Vanderpump wanted people to see what is really happening before the Yulin festival, which she has been trying to stop for a while. And even though many people support Lisa in her mission to stop this festival, fans do think she goes too far when she shares graphic images about what is going on.

“I have to agree. I support the cause but will be awake tonight haunted by those images,” another person chimed in, to which Lisa Vanderpump replied, “And how many nights do you think I have stayed awake? This is how it started, I begged Ken to help and he jumped in.”

Sadly, Lisa didn’t really get the support she wanted from followers, as the person replied, “I [love] you & RHOBH and am horrified that this is my conversation w/you. I have a rescued pit bull & support many related orgs.”

And it sounds like Lisa Vanderpump’s hardcore fans are actually fighting this fight for her. One person decided to write to Anderson Cooper to ask him about doing a story on the dog trade horror and the Yulin festival, something that Vanderpump eagerly retweeted. And since these people are so passionate about this particular cause, some people are questioning why they are only focusing on the torture of dogs and not all animals.

“How about a story on the Yulin dog trade horror PLEASE… time is running out before the next festival,” one person tweeted to Anderson Cooper, which was a comment retweeted by Lisa Vanderpump.

And that’s when one follower decided to question why this person wasn’t campaigning for all animals.

“What about all the animals that are killed & served for her own benefit of her restaurants?” one person questioned, hinting that all animals are equal and that Lisa shouldn’t just be pushing to save dogs, which had the original follower lash out with, “oh shut up. We are not going vegan or veg. Don’t try to equate that with Yulin.”

“No you shut up, they are doing the same torture &slaughter them!” the follower replied, sharing a picture of all animals hurt by humans, to which the original supporter of Vanderpump replied, “Go push ur vegan/veggie agenda elsewhere. You have zero understanding of the issue & no empathy.”

These days, Lisa is questioning whether she should return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While she’s tired of the drama, she does see the show as being a great platform for pushing this Yulin issue.
