Jennifer Lawrence Reveals She Was On Drugs While Filming ‘The Hunger Games’; Tells Reporters Kim Basinger Is Dead

Jennifer Lawrence brought her booger onstage while a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show earlier this month, according to Hollywood Life. The 25-year-old The Hunger Games star, in her signature style, didn’t care about looking awkward and goofy during her interview with the late night talk show host.

Although it was somewhat disgusting, as noted by many fans, Jennifer Lawrence didn’t fail to entertain the audience of Fallon’s show during a game of True Confessions. Fallon and Lawrence were joined by HBO’s John Oliver to play the hilarious game.

After talking to Fallon about her latest X-Men movie, Jennifer Lawrence agreed to play with the host and Oliver. And that’s when she wiped away a booger. And she didn’t even hide the fact that she did it! In fact, she even warned everybody about her nasty move, asking if there was a booger on her nose.

In the middle of the game, Fallon noticed that Jennifer Lawrence had something on her nose. When the Oscar-winning actress asked if it was a booger, she didn’t even wait for Fallon’s reply and added that she “felt it!”

And that’s when she started wiping her nose with her hand, admitting that she “totally felt it.” Jennifer Lawrence, Fallon and Oliver then started laughing, with the latter asking, “when did it shoot up?” The Silver Lining actress admitted she couldn’t believe it actually happened to her on TV, saying, “no way a booger can exist on TV.”

But the appearance of the mysterious booger wasn’t the only highlight of Jennifer Lawrence’s participation in the game of True Confessions, according to People magazine. The 25-year-old actress admitted she took drugs when filming for The Hunger Games.

It was up for Fallon and Oliver to guess whether Jennifer Lawrence was lying or telling a truth when she said she once took an Ambien before filming a scene in the movie. When Fallon asked if she was sleeping in that scene, Lawrence admitted that she was in fact “dancing.”
But what Jennifer Lawrence said after Oliver suggested the Oscar-winning actress could have taken the drug before a fight scene, was quite shocking.

“I woke up and I thought it was something else, it was like normal to take it.”

But that wasn’t the only shocking thing revealed by Jennifer Lawrence during the game. The actress also confessed that she once jokingly told reporters at a press conference that Kim Basinger died. And the reporters believed her! Lawrence made that rather harsh joke when Basinger wasn’t present at one of the press conferences.

“So somebody said, ‘Where is Kim Basinger?’ And I just leaned into the microphone and was like, ‘You didn’t hear? Kim died’.”

Speaking to Movie Fone, Jennifer Lawrence shared what it’s like being a part of the X-Men franchise. The Hunger Games actress revealed that the whole crew trusts one another and so she gets her script in the mail.

Jennifer Lawrence also admitted that Oscar Issac, who plays Alpha mutant Apocalypse, was more “creatively involved” than any of the film’s cast members. When asked what was the most difficult scene to film, Lawrence said it was being strangled by Apocalypse.

“That was the hardest, because I was in a harness, being lifted by my genitalia.”

And Jennifer Lawrence’s co-star James McAvoy has this one cool idea for a scene between Raven and Xavier that he would like to be featured in future installments of X-Men. And that scene would involve cuddles, not like lovers, though, McAvoy added, but like “brother and sister.” And Lawrence sure liked that idea!

“You want more cuddles. You are so precious.”
