Dev On Sextape Rumors: ‘Got More Important Things To Worry About’

Celebrities, whether staged or not, always lose their freakin’ minds when various sextape rumors leak to the media. The sextapes are always shopped and released in a timely manner, careers are elevated, and money is made. Make no mistake, a sextape cripples no one’s career anymore. Maybe that’s why singer Dev is so awesome about the rumors of her sextape.

Pop diva Dev (of “Bass Down Low” fame) reportedly has an old sextape of her and an ex-boyfriend shopping around fetching quite a high celebrity-sextape-black-market price, according to PerezHilton. Aside from confirming that the tape is indeed of her, Dev’s response to the potential of embarrassing sextape release was a shrug and a “whatever,” for the most part.

“My boyfriend at the time and I were young and having fun, it was a long time ago. I am now a mom and engaged and have more important things to think about then someone trying to embarrass me.”

Wow. That’s the most mature reaction to a sextape rumor we’ve ever seen around these parts.

Still, MSN Wonderwall reports that the 23-year-old Dev (real name: Devin Star Tailes) has lawyers working for her around the clock sending cease-and-desist claims in order to make sure the sextape never ever sees the light of day.

Whether or not Dev’s sextape ever does, we do not currently know, so all we can say is that she doesn’t seem to care about its release while lawyers work tirelessly to see that it never does.
