Kourtney Kardashian Shares Sweet 16 Birthday Memories While Kim Calls Her ‘The New Diva’ [Video]

Kourtney Kardashian shared a special memory of her Sweet 16 birthday bash with her family on her private website and app, revealing that despite failing her driver’s test, she still received a brand new black BMW. “It was a surprise from my parents,” Kardashian shared, adding that she “was totally shocked and so happy to get to drive home in my own car.”

To make the gift extra special, Kourtney’s parents tied balloons to the side view mirrors, and had a valet present the vehicle to her. In a photo the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared on her website, Kourtney can be seen smiling in the front seat, while her father and brother pose together in the backseat.

“On my actual birthday, I went to Benihana for dinner with my family and a couple of friends,” Kourtney recalled, but a few days later, she had another, larger, party “so we could celebrate with all of my friends and family.” Calling the birthday bash “amazing,” Kardashian remembered that she was able to drive to the event in the new BMW, although her parent had to be with her as she drove because she still didn’t have her license.

On her website, Kourtney Kardashian also shared a memory of her father, Robert Kardashian, who advised his teenage daughter on “how to act when I opened people’s gifts!” According to Kourtney, her father kept “giving me suggestions of what to say, like, ‘I have always wanted this!’ It was really funny.”

While Kourtney seemed to love being the center of attention on the special night, according to her sisters, the mother of three is the new “diva” of the Kardashian family, and has been not just sticking her nose into everyone else’s business, but she’s also been developing an inappropriate relationship with her mother’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

While Kourtney and Gamble are just friends, the other Kardashian sisters have noted that it’s “bizarre…how close Kourtney and Corey are BFF.” In a clip from Keeping Up With The Kardashians,Kim calls the budding friendship between Kourtney and Gamble “weird,” while her sister agrees.

Referring to a photo from a hike super-healthy Kourtney and Corey took together, Kim believes “[i]t looked like a family photo,” calling the snap “so inappropriate.” In fact, the two hang out so much they’re “always together,” and even “go out at night together,” Kardashian confirmed.

In an on camera interview, Khloé agrees, confessing that although she “love[s] Corey, I think he’s super nice,” she doesn’t “ask him to hang out,” and adds that “Kourtney and Corey are conjoined twins.” But Kourtney tells a different story, urging Kim to “get to know him better,” and advising Kardashian to “ask him questions…but you don’t need to be nosy.”

Meanwhile, Kourtney’s sisters have also accused her of “becoming the new diva” when Kardashian tries to take over decorating Rob’s new home from celebrity decorator Faye Resnick. Despite Faye’s hard work, Kourtney criticized her design decisions until she “messed up my whole thing,” Resnick hurls at her before adding, “[i]t was so exciting and now it’s boring. I’m sad.”

In the same scene, Kourtney is admonished by her mother for being rude to Faye, telling Kardashian that, “[s]ometimes you tend to be the authority on everything decorating you were very opinionated and Faye worked so hard.” Kourtney points out her “opinion is very valued and many people around the world would love it.” She asks her mother, “Do you want me to come over and lie?”
