Justin Bieber’s Remix Of Drake’s “One Dance” Is Coming — Listen To Snippets

Is a Drake and Justin Bieber “One Dance” remix coming for the summer? It looks like it. And that makes a whole lot of sense.

The original track, which features WizKid and Kyla, appears on Drake’s latest Views album, and is Drake’s biggest single of his career so far. It’s back atop Billboard’s Hot 100 for a second non-consecutive week, and radio and clubs can’t get enough it.

Perfect timing then, for the online arrival of teasers for a Justin Bieber remix to Drake’s “One Dance” seemingly ready-made for the hot season. Will it face-off with the original for the song of the summer title?

Bieber premiered a dancehall remix of the jam at 1Oak’s pop up nightclub in Monaco, France, on Saturday (May 28), ahead of attending the F1 Monaco Grand Prix. Complex reports actress Gabrielle Union was at the exclusive party. She captioned a Snapchat of the moment the remix was played, writing, “Justin on Drake remix… 1st time heard anywhere.”

The snippets showcases the Prince of Pop’s creamy vocals over a bouncy foot-tapper that sees the Biebs venture further into a dancehall-meets-club sonic, similar to his previous huge Purpose album hits, “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry.”

Bieber and Drizzy’s “One Dance” remix isn’t the first time the Canuck pals have teamed up in music. Rewinding it back to 2010, Drake made a cameo in the Bieb’s video for his signature hit, “Baby.” The pair also collaborated on “Right Here” on the younger star’s 2012 Believe album.

Justin also put his spin on Drake’s “Hotline Bling” back in October. The duo’s most recent hang-out saw the Biebs surprise the MC at his Toronto album release party in April.

And there’s more new music on the way for Justin Bieber fans. Following on from Diplo and Bieber’s earlier tease about an upcoming collaboration, the EDM producer dished with a major reveal during his Major Lazer Sound show on Apple’s Beats 1 on Saturday. To listen, scroll to 25:05 minutes here.

Diplo said “Cold Water” is the name of his first single with the Biebs, which will also feature “Lean On” vocalist MØ. The highly anticipated track is set to be released in a “couple weeks.”

Meanwhile, the day after Justin acted as hype man for rapper 50 Cents at the same club he dropped his “One Dance” remix, he partied with British champ Lewis Hamilton after he was first to congratulate the Grand Prix winner hours earlier on Sunday.

Hamilton let Bieber have the first sip of champagne after his big win.
