Gwen Stefani Shares New Pics With Blake Shelton, But Are They Paying People To Promote Their Relationship?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have never been shy about their romance.

Following their performance together during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Stefani shared a few new pics with Shelton. Despite the flurry of adorable online activity, are they actually paying people to promote their relationship?

According to In Touch Weekly, The Voice couple took the stage during the event and performed “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

While fans were happy to see Shelton and Stefani in action once again, Stefani quickly posted a number of different images on Instagram of her big night with the country crooner.

While Shelton and Stefani enjoyed the publicity, Jezebel is reporting that all the attention they received might not be what it seems.

A few eerily similar fan posts on social media hint that Shelton and Stefani, and possibly a few of their sponsors, are intentionally boosting their relationship.

“I have a weird obsession with these two right now!! Watching the whole performance for @iheartradio at iheartradio.com/hondastage — heart eyes!!!!” on fan wrote on Instagram.

Later, another fan took to Instagram to post a strangely similar message.

“Saw these two cuties in concert w @ginaa_a…they are my new fave couple!! Love you can watch Blake’s performance at iheartradio.com/hondastage.”

Although the posts could just be a strange coincidence, the wording hints that someone is either paying the fans to promote the performance or the accounts are fake.

Whatever the truth of the matter, there is a possibility that Shelton and Stefani are paying fans to promote their relationship in order to gain a wider audience. If this is true, then their efforts have paid off so far as the couple is pop music and country music’s favorite new thing.

At this time, neither Shelton nor Stefani have addressed the rumors that they are paying fans to promote their relationship. Do they really need to pay people for more publicity than they are already getting?

For his part, Shelton is doing plenty of promotion himself.

In a recent interview with ET Online, Shelton couldn’t help but gush about his new girlfriend.

“I just like being with her, but when she’s all dolled up and we go places, it’s always fun for me,” Shelton admitted. “If she was here right now, not one person here would be looking at anybody else but her. It’s just cool to know that’s who I came here with. That’s basically what [“A Guy With a Girl”] is about. They may come up and talk to me, but it’s only because I’m one person over from her. Pretty cool.”

The song Shelton referenced is from his newest album, titled If I’m Honest.

At the same time, Shelton also opened up about getting to know Stefani’s three kids, Kingston (9), Zuma (7), and Apollo (2). This includes spending time with the boys on his ranch in Oklahoma.

“When they come out there, I don’t see them much because if they’re at my place in Oklahoma, they’re in the woods,” Shelton revealed. “I don’t know how to keep control of them.”

Shelton and Stefani have also faced new rumors that they are expecting a baby of their own.

Naturally, Shelton did not shy away from addressing the pregnancy rumors.

“I read that we’re having twins in the latest tabloid, and I think you can fit two humans in there,” Shelton shared, pointed to his stomach. “Maybe three in there!”

Considering the success of their most recent duet, fans can expect the two to sing together again in the future.
