Katy Perry’s Hair Color Changes Again, This Time Tries Orange

Katy Perry’s hair color doesn’t seem to stay the same for more than a couple of days, and, for her latest ‘do, the singer has been seen sporting a look she’s tried before — bright orange.

Just a few days ago, Katy Perry had been spotted with a jet black look and a see-through dress, The Huffington Post noted. Her latest hair color change came for an official magazine shoot for for L’Officiel Paris in which she poses in “a peachy dress and rosy makeup,” the report said.

Katy Perry’s hair has been orange before but not always necessarily on purpose. Last summer, she told fans that she was excited to be changing her hair color but wasn’t able to get it exactly how she wanted. Katy Perry was starting with black hair, so, instead of her intended look, she ended up with dark orange-ish color.

“So I didn’t get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long,” she wrote at the time.

As The Huffington Post noted, the accidental orange was followed by a more intentional a two-tone orange ombre. The report added that “we actually like this new hue more than her neon blue, dark purple, pale rose, cotton candy pink.”

Katy Perry’s hair color change could just be an attempt to keep up with her former love, John Mayer. After the pair’s reported split, he was seen with his long locks chopped off, People magazine reported.
