Kim Kardashian And Kanye West To Former Bodyguard — Stop Talking Or Give Us $10 Million
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have issued an ultimatum to their bodyguard to stop talking or pay up.
TMZ is reporting that Kardashian and West’s lawyer has sent an official letter to their former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis. In the letter, Kardashian and West reminded Stanulis of the confidentiality agreement he signed to never spill any information about their family.
According to the lawyer, if Stanulis ever revealed family secrets then he would have to pay $10 million in damages. So far, Stanulis has done three interviews about his time guarding the Kardashian family, for a total fine of $30 million.
Despite the $10 million penalties, Kardashian and West are allowing Stanulis a way out. If he stops talking and sends them a formal apology, then they promise to drop the case. If he refuses, however, Kardashian and West are planning on following through with the lawsuit.
“This sad, parasitic maniac has violated every basic human tent of decency with his story of lies. The Wests will explore all legal means at their disposal to silence this nonsense,” an inside source revealed.
This is not the first time the couple has sued someone for violating their privacy. The two fined Chad Hurley, the founder of YouTube, for broadcasting West’s proposal in AT&T Park. Hurley dished out $440,000 as a result of his actions.
“I called the guy (who contracted the job) to find out where is my pay. He told me that West’s camp rejected the invoice and said, ‘tell him to get paid by Inside Edition,'” Stanulis explained to the NY Daily News.
At the same time, Stanulis revealed that he was fired after West caught him talking with Kardashian during her stay at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. The incident occurred just before this year’s Met Gala.
Stanulis is adamant that nothing romantic happened between him and Kardashian. Instead, he was simply going over their plans for the evening.
Unfortunately for Stanulis, West thought he was trying to flirt with his wife. This allegedly resulted in his firing and Stanulis’ barrage of negative comments.
Ever since he was let go, Stanulis has released some scathing comments about West, describing him as “the most condescending person I have ever met.”
Stanulis went on to reveal that West made his guards press his elevator buttons, did not allow them to talk whenever he was around and hated to sit in the front seat.
While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are clearly upset by Stanulis’ comments, he claims that he never signed a confidentiality agreement. In fact, he has revealed that the couple tried to make him sign it only after he was let go.
Meanwhile, apart from her troubles with Stanulis, Kardashian is also dealing with her brother’s relationship with Blac Chyna. According to E! Online, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and Blac Chyna are putting their past beef behind them while she and Rob prepare for their new baby.
“Blac Chyna and Kim are slowly rebuilding their friendship,” an insider told the outlet. “They do hang out without Rob and talk about all different things.”
“The family is happy to see how bright Rob is, and that’s what they care about,” the source added. “Blac and Rob are so excited to have their baby! Rob is making sure Chyna takes it easy and does not over does it.”
