Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Flaunt Love To Ward Off Scarlett Johansson?

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds can’t say enough good things about each other. In fact, they have told their love story so many times in public that the media has now dubbed them as the most in-love couple in Hollywood. But some critics are wondering if they are doing this ward off his ex-wife Scarlett Johansson.

The fact that Blake is now pregnant with his second baby means that the couple is in no threats of divorcing, but you can never say too many good things about your spouse in public.

To greet the Cannes Film Festival season, the actress gushed about her husband again, telling the story of when he once broke the rule of the French festival to make her feel more part of his life and career.

“I’ve been [at Cannes] with my husband two years ago, which was so special,” she said according to Glamour. “He actually broke a Cannes rule and snuck away from the rest of his cast and came back and picked me up, so we got to walk the red carpet together. To be there at Cannes with him, thinking, ‘Wow, he has a film at the Cannes Film Festival, what a big deal’ was so special.”

Maybe she returned Ryan the favor by doing the same when she walked the red carpet for Cafe Society, which opened the festival this year. Looks like they are able to share the same level of success.

The 28-year-old actress has been having a ball at this year’s Cannes, showing up in fantastical dresses that caught the imaginations of the public. Seeing how Scarlett Johansson was not there this year, she had the red carpet all to herself.

“My wife knows how to work a red carpet, I’ll say that,” Ryan said according to Romper. “Yeah, she might be the Beyonce of red carpets. She’s turned that into an athletic event.”

Like the comment above, Blake and Ryan have been pouring out only good things about each other to reporters and magazines.

“It’s been pretty clear for a while that actors Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of the best couples out there,” reports Romper. “They praise each other, yet always manage to keep the humor going, are both at the top of their game career-wise, and they make an amazing set of parents to baby James Reynolds.”

Even when Scarlett Johansson revealed some information about her previous marriage to Ryan Reynolds, they kept their calm and made sure not to address any of her comments.

“The logistics of being with another actor are challenging,” Scarlett said to Cosmopolitan. “There has to be a real understanding of how you share your time, especially when two people’s careers are going at the same rate. Or even if one person is more successful than the other, that also proves challenging. There may be a competitive thing.”

But it looks like Blake and Ryan have been able to keep competition out of their marriage.

In fact, Ryan Reynolds has been more than eager to credit his second wife for all this successes.

“I’d like to thank Twentieth Century Fox, the Deadpool team, the entire crew up in Vancouver,” he said during his acceptance speech for Best Comedic Performance at MTV Movie Awards 2016 according to E! Online. “I want to thank my wife — everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex. Thank you.”
