‘The Walking Dead’ Actor Charged With DUI
Peachtree City , GA - The Walking Dead actor Scott Wilson was arrested in Georgia on August 18 under suspicion of drunk driving. Scott was arrested at 2 am near the location where the hit AMC TV show is filmed.
Peachtree City police pulled over and arrested the 70-year-old actor after an unknown person called 911 to report that his Chrysler PT Cruiser was swerving down the highway.
In the official police report, the arresting officer says Wilson was drinking scotch and wine at a local restaurant before deciding to get behind the wheel of his car and drive home. The arresting officer claims that the actor was swaying back and forth when he was asked to exit his vehicle.
When asked by the police officer to perform a basic battery of field sobriety tests, the TV actor instead asked if he could do yoga poses.
Scott Wilson has not returned calls, and a lawyer has not been listed for his upcoming court date.
The actor is best known for his AMC drama role as a farmer who also happens to be a recovering alcoholic.
On the one hand, it’s always sad when someone drinks so much they swerve down the highway; on the other hand, we want to know if the 70-year-old actor is able to handle the more advanced Yoga moves.
