‘The Young And The Restless’ Cast News: Elizabeth Hendrickson Reportedly Returning As Chloe Mitchell, What’s The Scoop?

There is big news out for fans of The Young and the Restless. Spoilers indicate that there is a familiar face returning to Genoa City soon, and this arrival could shake things up in many ways. It seems that Elizabeth Hendrickson is set to reprise her role as Chloe Mitchell and people cannot wait to hear more.

According to Daytime Confidential, Elizabeth Hendrickson will be headed back to Genoa City soon and this time, she will be sticking around for a while. The last that Young and Restless viewers saw of Chloe, she was acting a bit crazy as Adam was going through the trial related to Delia’s death.

As Soap Central details, Elizabeth began playing Chloe on Young and Restless back in 2008, and she left in May 2014. She has been back for brief appearances a few times since then, but an extended return with a juicy storyline will definitely have her supporters buzzing. There is no word yet on exactly what will bring Chloe back to Genoa City or what lies ahead for her, but viewers can see that there is a lot of potential for a big story involving this character.

During Hendrickson’s last brief return, there were some tidbits teased about a secret child that Chloe had given birth to at some point after her previous departure. Although it was never confirmed during this last visit that she did indeed have a new daughter, Young and Restless fans think that it was laid out fairly clearly, and everybody would imagine that this will be a big component of the storyline developed with Elizabeth’s return.

As Young and Restless viewers know, Chloe has significant ties to both Billy and Kevin, and it seems highly likely that if she does return to Genoa City with a daughter, it will be Billy’s. This is a juicy time to have her return to town, given Billy’s current state with a contentious relationship with Victoria and his longing for his brother’s wife, Phyllis. How will Chloe fit into this picture?

The show could certainly use a way to utilize Kevin more, and having Chloe return just as he seems to be reconnecting with Mariah could certainly shake things up. The buzz is that there is a major storyline ahead for Chloe with this return, and people are quite excited to hear she will be back.

So far, it does not appear that the show has detailed when the character will first begin to air again. Hendrickson’s departure was a tough one for Young and Restless viewers, but the actress had indicated that she needed some time away to try other adventures. Now it seems she is ready to dive back into this complicated character again, and there is no doubt that her arrival will shake things up on many fronts.

In terms of what’s coming up next on Young and Restless, spoilers from SheKnows Soaps detail that there is plenty of drama related to Hilary on the way, and Luca will be pushing hard to make his mark on Newman Enterprises. However, it seems that he will also come to realize he is sincerely falling for Summer. Victor is not giving up on regaining control of his family, and Adam has a new plan that will shake things up. Of course, there is still the secret regarding Christian that will be emerging somehow at some point soon as well.
