Khloe Kardashian Divorces Lamar Because Of Drinking, Says She Won’t Pay Spousal Support

Khloe Kardashian has finally had enough and is throwing in the towel, refiling divorce papers to sever ties with Lamar Odom for good this time. Khloe Kardashian put her divorce on hold when Odom had several strokes after overdosing in a Nevada brothel on drugs and booze. For over six months, Kardashian put her life on hold and helped Lamar Odom regain his strength to get back to something resembling normal, but she says she never intended to live as man and wife again, and she continued dating other men. Kardashian might have given Odom more time, but when Kardashian saw photos of Odom drinking, getting back to his self-destructive ways, Khloe decided to finally pull the plug. For over six months, Khloe Kardashian has also been covering Lamar Odom’s expenses, but that will be coming to an end soon, as she is refusing to enable Odom by paying him spousal support.

According to the Inquisitr, Khloe Kardashian saw photo evidence of Lamar Odom drinking heavily at a bar in the early morning hours of Easter Sunday, right before he went to church with the Kardashian family. Khloe Kardashian claims that she believed that Lamar Odom was clean, and she felt betrayed by Odom, whom she called a “broken person.”

Radar Online says that Khloe Kardashian has finally had enough and has filed for divorce once and for all. Kardashian has been far more patient than Odom had the right to expect, and she wants to move on and remove the name Odom from her name, returning to simply Khloe Kardashian.

Kardashian was sticking by Odom, as his health is still in a precarious balance, and he continues with rehab and physical therapy, but according to sources, when Kardashian realized that Lamar Odom was once again going down a dark road, she decided to go forward with the divorce.

“Khloe was over him completely when he chose drugs and drinking over his life and her.”

Ace Showbiz is reporting that Khloe Kardashian is firmly saying no to supporting Lamar Odom after the divorce is final, as Odom continues to make bad decisions. Khloe Kardashian had a prenup agreement that essentially claims what’s hers is hers, and what belongs to Lamar Odom stays with Lamar Odom. While Khloe Kardashian’s career continues to be on an uptick, Lamar Odom has bottomed out, and he was reportedly a full-time addict and a retired NBA player at the time he overdosed at the Nevada brothel.

Khloe Kardashian obviously means business, as she also says that Lamar Odom can pay for his own legal representation, because she isn’t footing that bill either. Kardashian has hired attorney Laura Wasser, a divorce lawyer who means serious business. Khloe Kardashian first filed for divorce in December of 2013, but she put the final paperwork on hold to help Odom through his overdose and medical emergency. Odom is out of the hospital, and Kardashian is totally done caring more about his well-being than Odom does.

The Daily Mail is saying that the marriage of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom is finally over, and the photos of Odom drinking persuaded Kardashian to sever all ties to Odom sooner rather than later. Khloe Kardashian did not blindside Odom, so he knew that Kardashian was filing the papers and getting the ball rolling.

Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, who was just hired by Johnny Depp to represent him in his divorce from Amber Heard, should have little to do in the case of Kardashian v. Odom, as they will just have to wait the required six months to have the papers stamped by a judge because of the prenup.

Even though the relationship between Kardashian and Odom has been over for some time, Kardashian says she is still sad and will try to keep busy not to think about finalizing the divorce from Odom. Kardashian shared some advice with her fans, as due to Lamar Odom’s overdose, she has been going through the death of her relationship for a long time.

“The busier you are the less you are going to think about something. So try to consume your thoughts with really productive things. Try to find a hobby and keep yourself busy in a really positive way.”
