‘Bachelorette’ JoJo’s Engagement Already Over? ‘I Should’ve Listened To What Others Were Saying’

The Bachelorette season finale is still weeks away from airing on ABC, but the controversy over how JoJo Fletcher’s love story plays out in real life is already heating up.

Fans who are hoping to watch a romantic proposal that ends with JoJo flashing a massive Neil Lane diamond engagement ring will get their wish, but her happy ending may be short-lived. Will JoJo share breakup news with host Chris Harrison on the August 1 After The Final Rose special, or will she stand by her man amid the backlash from his ex-lover?

[Warning: Bachelorette Season 12 spoilers ahead]

Contestant Jordan Rodgers received the first impression rose and the first kiss on the season premiere. He will quickly become this season’s frontrunner and, if Reality Steves spoilers are correct, he will go all the way with JoJo — and not just in the Fantasy Suite.

Steve is confident that JoJo and Jordan got engaged in Thailand, where the finale was filmed earlier this month. However, he states that it won’t be long before the couple issues an official breakup statement, but first, Steve expects JoJo to defend Jordan and downplay the cheating allegations that at least one of his ex-girlfriends has shared on social media.

“Riding the bench doesn’t get in the way of a relationship, but cheating does.” Jordan’s ex, Brittany Farrar, posted on Instagram during the Bachelorette premiere.

Once the “we’re in love” hype dies down after the season finale, Steve expects that the couple will split and JoJo will “open up about her breakup with Jordan” and reveal that she “should’ve listened” to what people were saying about him.

“You don’t know half the story. This is not going to end well for JoJo in the long run, and I’ve been saying that for a month… this is only the beginning. The Jordan stories of his skirt-chasing will dominate the tabloids the next two months. Impossible that deep down that won’t bother the sh** out of JoJo… when JoJo finally opens up about her breakup with Jordan [she will say] “I should’ve listened to what others were saying more.”

JoJo, who has been on a media tour since the season premiere, has been very upbeat about the season. She can’t say anything about the season or her relationship status due to her contract but did address rumors that she connected with Jordan before filming started in March.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, JoJo told Nancy O’Dell that it was “all over the Internet” that Jordan would be joining the cast. That didn’t influence “her thoughts about him,” and she denied ever meeting him or talking to him before the show.

Reality Steve begs to differ, stating that “if there were ever a court order done to turn over her phone, or she was hooked up to a lie detector test,” it would be revealed that she was lying about Jordan.

If she was talking to Jordan before filming, she wasn’t the only woman in his life. According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, sources state that the ex-NFL player was with another girl the night before he left to film the Bachelorette, and promised her that their relationship would continue when he returned and going on the show was “strictly business.”

So far, the girl in question has not come forward on social media like Jordan’s ex, Brittany Farrar, did, but never say never — she may get offered a tidy sum of cash to spill her story to a tabloid in the coming weeks.

Watch the Bachelorette on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
