Gigi Hadid And Zayn Malik Secretly Split? He Was Just Spotted With A Mystery Blonde

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik reportedly split weeks ago. Following an appearance at the Met Gala, during which the couple walked the red carpet together, a source claims they have secretly parted ways.

According to a Hollywood Life report on May 26, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik haven’t been spotted together since May 7, just days after their Met Gala appearance, and that is likely due to the fact that they parted ways around that time.

“Zayn broke the news to Gigi two weeks after her birthday,” a source told Life & Style, via Hollywood Life, on May 25. “He sat her down at dinner and told her how he felt.”

Gigi Hadid turned 21 on April 23, about 2 weeks before her and Zayn Malik’s last outing together.

As for why the couple parted ways, the source explained, “Zayn told Gigi that he wanted to keep his options open and work on himself. Gigi was shocked because she thought they were a perfect couple. She is absolutely heartbroken and has been feeling really sad ever since.”

Although Gigi Hadid did share a photo of herself and Malik at the end of last week, the photo was believed to have been taken a while back, as Hadid’s caption explained that she was missing the former One Direction singer.

“Missing you,” read the caption of Gigi Hadid’s May 21 photo.

Since Gigi Hadid’s latest photo of Malik, the model has been completely silent on Instagram.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik began dating at the end of last year just weeks after the model split from singer Joe Jonas and months after Malik and ex-girlfriend Perrie Edwards called off their engagement.

Following Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s alleged split, the singer stepped out with a mystery blonde in Los Angeles. In photos shared by the Daily Mail, Malik walked beside an unidentified woman and her dog as they hiked with a couple of other men.

In addition to Malik’s recent outing with another woman, he has also been accused of communicating with his ex-fiancée, Perrie Edwards.

“Gigi keeps catching Zayn talking to his ex-fiancee [Perrie]. Gigi has had it,” a source told Life & Style, via Hollywood Life, on May 11. “She’s told him that if she catches him talking to his ex again, it’s over for good.”

While the source claimed Edwards only made contact with Malik to “discuss some items she still has of his,” Hadid was said to be irate, and their relationship was noted to be “definitely on the rocks.”

The source also claimed Malik was unsure of a committed relationship with Hadid.

“He’s told her he’s just not sure he can fully commit to her,” the insider added. “He’s enjoying his fame and may want to keep his dating options open.”

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik kept their relationship under wraps for the first few weeks of dating but in recent months, they have become much more open with their romance and just before their alleged split, Hadid even stepped out in a “Zayn” t-shirt in New York City.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have yet to announce news of their alleged split, but considering they haven’t been seen together since earlier this month, they have either parted ways or they are simply being kept apart due to their busy schedules which include Hadid’s modeling gigs and Malik’s music career and studio time.
