Is Gavin Rossdale Jealous Over Blake Shelton’s Bond With Gwen Stefani’s Boys?

Even though Gavin Rossdale is the one who cheated on Gwen Stefani, it seems Rossdale is the one having problems with watching Stefani move on with Blake Shelton, and even more painful for Rossdale is watching his three sons bond with Shelton. Bottom line, unlike when the cheating was unveiled, Stefani is the one having a blast while Rossdale is now suffering. Stefani and Rossdale seemed to quickly work out the details of their divorce, which suited her fine, and she has rebounded nicely with Blake Shelton, whom she met on The Voice. But now, Rossdale is calling for a secret meeting to try to lock down rules about Shelton’s time with the Stefani-Rossdale boys.

According to The Inquisitr, Gwen Stefani got off easy in her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, as they had no prenup, and California is a community property state. Rossdale could have demanded fifty percent. Stefani got to keep all of her music, the bulk of the real estate, and Rossdale and Stefani struck a deal for the care of their three boys.

E! News is reporting that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had to have a pow wow to discuss Blake Shelton’s role in the lives of Stefani and Rossdale’s three boys. Rossdale feels that he should be allowed to dictate who spends time with his kids when they are with Stefani, and he’s not too keen on the Stefani/Shelton relationship.

Gavin Rossdale is being clear that he “doesn’t agree” with Stefani “having a relationship with Blake.” But it’s likely that Stefani didn’t agree with Rossdale having a relationship with their nanny… or his continuing to have some sort of relationship with their now-former nanny. Rossdale also doesn’t want the kids around Blake Shelton at all if possible, according to sources.

“If it were up to Gavin he would want to work it out with Gwen.”

Yes, that seems unlikely.

Hollywood Life says that Gwen Stefani is planning a future with Blake Shelton, but Gavin Rossdale has other plans, and in his perfect world, Blake Shelton is out of the picture. Rossdale asked Stefani to sit down and discuss the Shelton situation with him, almost as if he has a say in her private life. A mutual friend of Stefani and Rossdale is spilling the details of the tete-a-tete.

“Gwen had a meeting with Gavin to discuss her relationship with Blake and how it will affect the children going forward. [Gavin] wants to be consulted on everything concerning the kids and the role that Blake is playing in their lives.”

Of the utmost importance to Rossdale is what he calls his “dad rights,” and he is concerned that he is being overshadowed by Blake Shelton, as the boys seem to have really bonded with him. The bottom line is the meeting was very emotional, and Rossdale seems to have regrets about the divorce.

On the Blake Shelton front, he doesn’t want to talk to or meet with Gavin Rossdale, as he won’t forget what Rossdale did to Gwen Stefani.

“He can’t forgive someone who treated his lady that way.”

US Weekly says that Gwen Stefani was happy to hear what Gavin Rossdale has to say, but she essentially agreed to the meeting to placate Rossdale to keep the peace. Stefani is happily moving on and will not consider any future that involves Rossdale other than as a co-parent.

Gwen Stefani’s boys reportedly love Blake Shelton, and Shelton is very fond of them. The boys – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo – have a different rapport with Shelton than they have with Rossdale, as they are very different people.

But it is safe to say that Shelton and Rossdale will never be friends, as Shelton cannot forgive Rossdale’s cheating behavior.
