Celebrities are asked to take photos with fans on a daily basis. Some find it annoying, some refuse to do it, and some, like the ever-awesome Tom Hanks, embrace it.

One of the actors’ fans ran into him earlier this week and asked the famous actor to take a few photos.

Hanks could have responded:

1. How dare you talk to me.
2. Kid, I’m a two-time Oscar winner. I don’t pose on film unless Spielberg is holding the camera.
3. I made $50 million for Angels and Demons. If you want a picture it will cost you $100.

Instead, Hanks let the kid steal his glasses, let the kid pretend that he was drunk, and posed for some great photos.

Hanks has had amazing success throughout his career, but has still kept a pretty level head about his fame and career.

Hanks said:

“I love what I do for a living, it’s the greatest job in the world, but you have to survive an awful lot of attention that you don’t truly deserve and you have to live up to your professional responsibilities and I’m always trying to balance that with what is really important.”
