Pitt House Sold: Ellen Degeneres Flips Brad Pitt’s Former Malibu Home For $13 Million [Photos]

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have reportedly sold the gorgeous Malibu house that they bought from actor Brad Pitt for a $1 million profit.

According to People magazine, Degeneres originally purchased the 4,088 square-foot, four-bedroom home from Pitt in December of 2011 for $12 million.

Seven months later, Degeneres and de Rossi have flipped the property, selling it for $13 million to cosmetics mogul Victoria Jackson, US Weekly writes.

The house, which Pitt bought in 2005 (shortly after his divorce from Jennifer Aniston) for $4.8 million, boasts sweeping coastal views of the Pacific Ocean and Point Mugu State Park, a lap pool, a modern kitchen, and private access to a sandy beach cove.

Besides pawning off their Malibu house, Degeneres and de Rossi, who this week celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary, also sold their Beverly Hills home to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest for $37.5 million.

The Beverly Hills property was 2.87 acres and boasted a main house comprising of 9,200 square foot, three adjacent guest-homes, and a selection of sprawling wildlife ponds.

According to Monsters and Critics, the couple’s new primary location — also in Beverly Hills — is 8,500 sq. ft. and was previously owned by Hollywood producer Robert Cort.

Designed by famed architect Hal Levitt in the late 50s, the 4 bedroom, 6 bath place features walls of glass, soaring ceilings, several fireplaces, a library, a commercial black-and-stainless-steel kitchen, and a tree in the middle of the living room. Additionally, the one-acre property boasts great views across Los Angeles and a moderate sized rectangular pool surrounded by lush vegetation.
