Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Keep Romance Private
Miranda Lambert and Anderson East may share photos of themselves on social media from time to time, but for the most part, the couple has remained fairly silent in regard to their romance.
As Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband, Blake Shelton, continues to promote his new album, If I’m Honest, in which he references his divorce, the 32-year-old country star has remained focused on her music and her tour.
On May 25, Hall of Fame Magazine reported news of Miranda Lambert’s secrecy regarding her romance, while pointing out that Shelton has taken a much different approach when it comes to his own love life. While Miranda Lambert hasn’t said much at all about East in the press, Shelton speaks of his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, quite frequently and throughout his new album, much of their romance has been chronicled.

“The ex-wife of Shelton, Miranda Lambert seems to have found the new love of her life. However, fans are asking why she seldom talks about Anderson East on social media,” the outlet noted. “Lambert has been asked why she seldom talks about East on her social media accounts. Unlike Stefani and Shelton, Lambert seems to prefer to keep her relationship private.”
Miranda Lambert and East began dating at the end of last year, just weeks after Shelton and Stefani went public with their romance while filming the ninth season of The Voice. However, while rumors of their romance began swirling in December, 2015, Miranda Lambert didn’t officially confirm she and East were dating until January, when she shared a photo of them together under a red flannel throw.

Although Miranda Lambert and East appear to be quite happy together, and recently made their couples debut during the Academy of Country Music Awards, her divorce from Shelton became a hot topic once again following the release of Shelton’s “I Bet You Still Think About Me.”
While the track appears to be inspired by Shelton’s split from Miranda Lambert last July, a source claimed that she is not at all bothered by the song. In fact, she’s completely on board and understanding of Shelton as an artist.
“[Miranda Lambert] is aware of what country artists do when creating new music,” a source told E! News earlier this month. “She is not upset at the lyrics because she knows it’s just how it goes, especially as a country artist… She is always thinking and currently working on new lyrics and song ideas and many of those ideas steam from the past, present and future experiences.”
As he debuted the new song earlier this month, Shelton spoke of the meaning behind “I Bet You Still Think About Me.”
“It’s basically what it sounds like. At some point, whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it’s just like, ‘Gosh, how come that didn’t work out?’ ” Shelton explained. “And that’s what this song is about. Even though stuff didn’t work out, I bet you miss me a little bit. It’s a sad song.”
Meanwhile, as Shelton’s album continues to generate attention, things between Miranda Lambert and East are reportedly heating up.
“[Miranda Lambert] and Anderson are talking about moving in with each other,” the source said. “It’s getting pretty serious. They want children and have shared their thoughts with each other on that subject.”
