Christina Aguilera just achieved a major victory on The Voice by becoming the show’s first female coach to win. And after her contestant Alisan Porter beamed amid the applause, Christina could not resist teasing fellow coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, pointed out ET.

“I won, I won! I beat the boys!” taunted Aguilera. “Woo!”

Christina then took pity on Adam and Blake, who looked like puppies left behind in the pound. In response to their sad faces, Aguilera expressed her affection.

“I love you, I love you!” reassured Aguilera.

In addition to rejoicing in her victory, Christina earned applause by teaming up with Ariana Grande for a duet, “Dangerous Woman.” The women posed together, and Grande expressed her appreciation on Twitter.

“Over the [moon emoji], beyond excited to be sharing the stage w @xtina on @NBCTheVoice tonight. Someone please collect me off the floor when we’re done,” tweeted Ariana.

The big question after the final episode: Which coaches are returning for Season 11 in autumn amid speculation that at least one was fired while others quit?

Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys are slated to join Blake and Adam, according to Gossip Cop, which also reported on the speculation about the possible scenarios that resulted in the exit of Christina and the fact that Gwen Stefani is not returning.

Rumors have swirled that Aguilera was fired. Some attributed the fact that Christina would not return due to “constant problems” with Blake and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani, which Gossip Cop contradicted. Other scenarios included describing Aguilera as being “pushed out” by Shelton.

One report even claimed that Stefani was not returning because Blake felt “smothered” by her presence and did not want her on the show, while another alleged that Christina had given producers a choice between Gwen and herself. However, according to what an insider told Gossip Cop, none of those reports are accurate.

“[Aguilera] always takes a season off, and next season is no different.”

As for Blake and Gwen, however, Stefani allegedly was distressed when producers did not invite her to return to The Voice as a coach and is considering ending her association with the singing competition permanently, according to News Every Day.

Consequently, because of Gwen’s battle with producers, Shelton is considering quitting the show as well.

Also leaving after this season is Pharrell Williams, who is exiting as part of the coach “shake-up” by NBC, according to the Wrap.

However, Williams will remain “in the mix” while NBC determines the right combination of coaches long-term. The changes are part of the network’s effort to balance ratings and costs, and Miley Cyrus achieved a “megabucks” arrangement. Shelton and Levine make approximately $13 million per season.

And while Miley got a great deal, she also became known for irritating Levine in her recent role as the competition series’ key adviser, a production insider told Us Weekly.

“[Cyrus] totally butted heads [with him],” revealed the insider. “They find each other annoying. Adam would get agitated when Miley would interrupt him, and she enjoyed getting under his skin.”

In addition, rumors have swirled that Levine is among those coaches leaving The Voice. He responded to those reports by joking about the situation, reported ET.

Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, are looking forward to welcoming their first baby later this year. And although he is currently scheduled for the upcoming season of the show along with Blake, Cyrus, and Keys, some assumed that he would quit the show because of the baby.

“We didn’t know that Adam would be leaving to have his family next year, so, I mean, it’s so awesome to have the opportunity to have him as a coach,” said Season 10 contestant Laith Al-Saadi.

Levine mocked the situation.

“Oh man. I’m gonna leave here and I don’t even know where I’m going. I don’t think that far ahead. We’ll see.”
