‘Big Brother 18’ News: Spoilers, Rumors, Season Premiere Information For ‘BB18’

Big Brother 18 news is starting to roll out for summer 2016. The new Big Brother 18 promos have started running in the CBS rotation and on Tuesday night, The Price Is Right will feature former houseguests in primetime. As reported by People Magazine, the May 24 episode will showcase some All-Stars of past seasons. The Big Brother inspired episode will air during primetime at 8 p.m. PT/ET.

As for the latest BB18 promo, the producers poke a little fun at the show, showing videos of many past contestants getting overcome with emotion. It’s a common thing for viewers to see Big Brother houseguests in tears, as the emotional toll from being stuck in a house all summer can be difficult. Rather than elicit sympathy, though, the producers seem to be going for the quick laugh this time around. It is one of two main advertisements that are getting used by CBS to help create some buzz before the season premiere.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some key information about Big Brother 18 has also been revealed in the past few days. At the top of the list is that the live feeds are going to reveal the BB18 cast on Monday, June 13. Former houseguest Jeff Schroeder will be interviewing the BB18 houseguests live online, giving fans of the show a first glimpse. There has been a number of Big Brother 18 rumors about whether or not the cast will consist of All-Stars or returning contestants, but none of that has been confirmed by CBS or producers just yet.

Some of the key facts that have been released by CBS center around when the season premiere will air and what days the BB18 schedule will work with this season. According to the main Big Brother website, the BB18 season premiere will be a two-hour event on Wednesday, June 22. That episode will begin at 8 p.m. PT/ET, showing CBS viewers the BB18 cast as it enters the house. The second episode will then air on Thursday, June 23, at 9 p.m. PT/ET. Most of the early footage will probably be taped, as the contestants enter the house a few days before the first episode.

After the first week of episodes, the June 29 episode (Wednesday) will slide back to 9 p.m. PT/ET. Thursday episodes will also be at 9 p.m. PT/ET and Sunday episodes will be at 8 p.m. PT/ET. If the producers follow the familiar schedule, the Thursday episodes will serve as eviction night as well as the Head of Household competition night. That would mean the nominations are once again revealed during the Sunday episodes and then the following Wednesday will showcase the Veto competition for that week.

Additional Big Brother 18 news has the live feeds presenting something exciting for the die-hard fans. A Big Brother marathon will take place on the live feeds following the introduction of the BB18 cast on June 13. This is a really big deal for new fans of the show because it provides an opportunity to watch each of the first 17 seasons in full. The marathon will continue until the live feeds are ready to be revealed to the public at 10 p.m. PT / 1 a.m. ET on the evening of Thursday, June 23.

After the success of Big Brother 17, the network renewed the reality competition series for two more years, showing just how intense the buzz has been about the show over the past few years. There are roughly four weeks left until the BB18 season premiere will air on CBS. That leaves a lot of time for additional Big Brother 18 spoilers or rumors to hit the internet, even though most of them probably won’t be verified right away. As a reminder, the BB18 cast is revealed on June 13 and the season premiere airs on June 22.
