‘Dance Moms’ Spoilers: ‘Maddie And Mackenzie Say Goodbye’ Brings Ziegler Girls And Abby Lee Miller Together One More Time

Season 6 of Dance Moms has brought the departure of dancers Maddie Ziegler, her sister, Mackenzie, and their mom, Melissa Gisoni. There was already an episode featuring their last competition for the series, a reunion show with Abby Lee Miller and the moms, and a reunion episode for the girls where Maddie and Mackenzie said goodbye. Now, however, Tuesday night brings one more Ziegler-related episode. What can fans expect from this May 24 show?

As TV Guide details, the May 24 episode is titled “Maddie and Mackenzie Say Goodbye.” The Ziegler girls will sit with just Abby for this one, and they look back on their years of appearing on the series together. In addition, viewers will get to hear what both gals have lined up for their next projects. Of course, Dance Moms fans already know that Maddie is going to be a judge on this summer’s So You Think You Can Dance, but the two teens have other projects in the works as well.

As the Dance Moms spoiler preview from the show’s Twitter page teases, Abby, Maddie, and Mackenzie will look back at some of the funny and light-hearted moments they have shared with one another, but they will revisit some of the difficult times, as well. Viewers watched as Miller struggled with the news that the family was leaving the series, but it looks like she fully embraces this last opportunity to revisit her experience with the show.

This will surely be an emotional episode for Maddie and Mackenzie’s fans to watch as the Ziegler gals have been a part of Dance Moms since the early days of the series. As difficult as it is for everybody to see them leave, their supporters are thrilled that they have so much ahead of them to tackle. Both girls have done some modeling gigs, and Mackenzie has already been dabbling in music. The buzz is that she has an album on the way, and viewers may get to learn a bit more about this Tuesday night.

Some Dance Moms fans think that this extended focus on the Ziegler girls is getting to be a bit much, considering that there has never been a fuss like this made when previous dancers left. However, Mackenzie and Maddie have substantial fan bases, and those folks will surely enjoy getting to see the girls in one more episode and take a journey back over the previous six seasons of the series. It looks like Tuesday’s show will feature some of the more difficult moments the girls have experienced, but there will be joyful segments shared, as well.

Regular episodes of Dance Moms are on hiatus for a bit, but more is on the way with Season 6. Maddie and Mackenzie may no longer be competing for the Abby Lee Dance Company for the Lifetime series, but the elite team is still competing with Kendall, Kalani, Nia, JoJo, and Brynn. In addition, it sounds like there may be some new faces popping up in the competitions ahead, perhaps even some boys. There is also the new team of mini dancers that Abby is building, and these young girls will be in the mix quite a bit in the episodes ahead.

Will Mackenzie and Maddie Ziegler go on to have great success after leaving Dance Moms behind? Fans have no doubt that the Ziegler gals will see many fantastic opportunities come their way, and everybody will be excited to support them in their new ventures. “Maddie and Mackenzie Say Goodbye” airs Tuesday night on Lifetime as Dance Moms takes one more look at the time these two teens have spent with Abby Lee Miller and the series.
