‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry Talks Marriage Stress As Husband Javi Marroquin Stays Off Social Media

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, have dealt with months of divorce rumors, and while the couple has yet to confirm news of a possible split, Lowry recently spoke of marital stress on Twitter.

“I have a question do you feel like it’s the ‘fans’ and MTV causing so much stress on your marriage?” a fan asked Kailyn Lowry on May 21.

In response, the reality star and mother of 2 said, “I definitely think it adds another element to the work part of a marriage.”

Earlier this month, after an episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 7 featured Kailyn Lowry receiving a text message from a man named Tyler Hill as she FaceTimed with her deployed husband, fans sent Marroquin a screenshot of the scene and he expressed his frustration on Twitter.

Prior to deleting his Twitter page, Marroquin posted a message, claiming the man who sent Kailyn Lowry a text message during the episode was the same man she was texting behind his back during Season 6. As fans may recall, Kailyn Lowry’s husband became upset during an episode last year after discovering his wife was communicating with other men on her phone.

“Oh interesting, same guy from last season,” Marroquin wrote.

In response to her husband’s tweet, Kailyn Lowry spoke out, denying Hill was the same man from last year and claiming there is nothing romantic between them.

“Tyler Hill is my best friend from school,” Kailyn Lowry revealed to Radar Online last week. “I didn’t sleep with him! You didn’t see emojis next to his name. Tyler has the same major as me. We have the same classes together. We’ve even filmed together.”

As for why Marroquin called her out so publicly, Kailyn Lowry said, “Maybe he was being a smart a**?”

News of Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin’s potential split has been swirling since earlier this year when they engaged in a spat on Twitter. At the time, Kailyn Lowry seemed annoyed by Marroquin’s allegedly inappropriate photo to another woman. And while Lowry has confirmed she and Marroquin are still married in the months since, she has not been photographed with her wedding ring in a few months, and Marroquin has been without his ring, as well.

Marroquin has also hinted that things aren’t great between him and Kailyn Lowry in a series of mysterious posts on Twitter.

“I had to let go of us to show myself what I could do,” Marroquin tweeted weeks ago, according to a second report by Radar Online. “And if you wanna know about my marriage … We’re on TV. You’ll find out eventually.”

After seeing Marroquin’s tweets, Kailyn Lowry admitted to the outlet, “I don’t know what’s going on,… Being [in Qatar] is messing with his head I’m sure. My head is exactly where your head is.”

However, the tweet mentioned wasn’t Marroquin’s only cryptic message. He also told fans, “We need people in our lives who raise our standards.”

Meanwhile, Kailyn Lowry recently added, “Some people change their hair color when they’re going through a big change in their life … Some people go skydiving.”

Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin have been married since September, 2012.
