Chris Harrison Says Viewers Should Keep Their Eyes On These Two Guys On ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 12

Chris Harrison is getting ready to kick off the 12th season of The Bachelorette, and he’s already giving viewers some clues as to who JoJo Fletcher’s final rose could go to. In an interview with the New York Post, Harrison named two guys specifically that viewers should keep an eye on as they make their limo exits and set out to win JoJo’s heart.

Out of 26 suitors who start out on Night 1 of The Bachelorette, Chris Harrison said a high-end real estate agent and a former football star are the top guys to watch.

“People will be talking about Chad [a 28-year-old luxury real estate agent],” Harrison said. “But obviously Jordan Rodgers [the younger brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers]. Once people get to know Jordan, they’ll see he’s a very good man and a dynamic guy in his own right.”

Chris Harrison added that there’s also “a couple guys from our military that I think will catch JoJo’s eye.” While Chris didn’t name them, the ABC press release for the premiere reveals that a contestant named Alex is a U.S. Marine and another contender, Luke, is a war veteran. Mixed in with guys whose occupations include “hipster” and “erectile dysfunction specialist,” it sounds like JoJo has got an interesting lineup of males to choose from.

The Bachelorette hasn’t even premiered yet, and Chris Harrison is already naming names. But considering the ABC series uses recycled Bachelorette cast members for the shows The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise, it’s no surprise that he wants to give fans names to remember ahead of the next two cycles of the reality TV franchise.

Harrison told the Post he’s heavily involved in helping to cast the ABC shows, and that the conversations start with the limo entrances each season on the reality dating show.

“I’m also involved in the decision of [who will be the next] Bachelor or the Bachelorette,” Chris revealed. “It really is a constant conversation that starts almost Night 1 of The Bachelorette. Once you saw the way it played out with Ben, when Ben told JoJo he loved her, it was such a no-brainer to have her back as The Bachelorette.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Chris Harrison described Fletcher’s Bachelorette suitors as a “very wide spectrum of guys in their walks of life to the way they look.” But it sounds like they won’t all be there for the right reasons. In fact, Harrison said there will also be a villain who could quite possibly turn out to be the most hated guy ever to appear on the long-running reality series.

“There are some crazy dynamic characters, maybe one of the wildest guys that Bachelor nation will love to hate this season,” Chris Harrison teased. “There are going to be some guys you really love to hate, then there’s going to be some guys that you’re not really sure about through the entire season… But at the same time, there’s some great love stories happening, so whatever you love about the show, it’s a little bit of everything.”

Two guys fans can definitely expect to see this season are JoJo’s overly-protective brothers. Fans met JoJo’s family during her hometown date earlier this year on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, and Harrison says the wild clan gets plenty of air time once more.

“I think that’s what everyone’s hoping for, the mom tipping back some wine and the brothers — that’s going to be a big part of the show,” Chris Harrison said. “This will be one of the best seasons we’ve had in a long time.”
