Actor Stephen Baldwin was arrested this week in Harlem, New York, for making an illegal U-turn and driving without a license, according to authorities.

The New York Post reports that The Usual Suspects star was pulled over after authorities spotted him making the U-turn, and subsequently questioned by police around 5pm. Police discovered that Baldwin was driving on a suspended license, though it was not reported why it was suspended.

Baldwin was arrested and taken to the 28th Precinct station house where he was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and for making an illegal U-turn. He was given a desk appearance ticket, and is scheduled to appear in court on October 1st.

Stephen Baldwin is the younger brother of 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin, and is perhaps best known for the films The Usual Suspects and Bio-Dome. In recent years, Stephen has garnered media attention due to his conversion to Christianity.

“It’s real, it’s changed my life, it’s transformed my heart, I’m not who I was,” Baldwin told ABC in 2006. “No longer … do I feel the pressure of, ‘how fancy are my shoes? Or what kind of car am I driving? Or how much money do I make?’ None of that matters to me anymore … I’m having a daily experience with the spirit of God that’s more priceless than anything I’ve experienced before.”

Baldwin definitely seemed to rely on his beliefs to cope with his recent traffic troubles, tweeting:
