Watch 2016 Billboard Music Awards Red Carpet And Show Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video For Sunday’s Show

Fans can watch the 2016 Billboard Music Awards live online and catch all the action, from the red carpet entrances to performances to the tribute to late music legend Prince.

The award show airs Sunday evening, with coverage starting at 8 p.m. on ABC. It will also be available online for those hoping to watch on live streaming video (a link to the video can be found below). It will be co-hosted by Ludacris and Ciara.

This award show is a bit different than the many other music award shows, as it gives the actual listeners a chance to pick the winners.

“Because it’s the people that vote,” Ludacris told ABC News. “When it comes to the charts, every artist is constantly looking at the Billboard charts, but this award show has been about the people, for the people, by the people for decades.”

Fans who watch the 2016 Billboard Music Awards live online could see a good night for newcomer The Weeknd, as the R&B singer leads the board with 16 nominations, including Top Male Artist and Top Artist. Some others with a chance to win big are Justin Bieber, who has 11 nominations, and rappers Fetty Wap and Drake, each with 10 nominations.

Nominees for Top Artist include Adele, Justin Bieber, Drake, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd. The nominees for Top New Artist are Fetty Wap, OMI, Charlie Puth, Silentó, and Bryson Tiller.

A full list of the nominees can be found here.

The show will include performances from Justin Bieber, DNCE, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Pink, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Meghan Trainor, and Lukas Graham. There will also be a collaboration between music super-couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani as well as another from Fifth Harmony featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Nick Jonas with Tove Lo.

One of the most anticipated moments of the night will be Madonna’s tribute to Prince, which will include some words from Questlove.

As Billboard noted, the rest of the details regarding Madonna’s performance are closely guarded.

“Billboard has learned that the Material Girl asked Questlove to share a few words about Prince.”

“And The Roots drummer has prepared a tribute to the late icon that will lead into Madonna’s performance at the ceremony.”

“Prince unexpectedly passed away April 21 at the age of 57. Other details on Madonna’s tribute remain a closely guarded secret.”

Another highly anticipated performance comes from Kesha, who originally wasn’t going to be able to perform due to her long-standing tension with producer Dr. Luke, who she has accused of raping her. His record label, Kemosabe, had rescinded permission given to Kesha to perform, but they later changed course and approved her performance.

The permission came with a caveat that Kesha not use her performance as a platform to talk about the case.

“Kesha’s performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith. Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation. Now that Kemosabe has obtained assurances, that it is relying upon, from Kesha, her representatives and Dick Clark Productions that neither Kesha nor her supporters will use the performance as such a platform, the approval has been restored.”
