‘Dancing With The Stars’ Spoilers: Season 22 Finale Brings Big Performances, Which Couple Will Take Home The Win?

It has been an intense season of competition, and now it is time for the finale on Dancing With the Stars. Spoilers tease that there are two jam-packed nights of action on the way, and fans are anxious to see which pair will walk away with the mirror-ball trophy. What is known so far about the two-night DWTS finale airing on Monday and Tuesday?

As viewers know, only three pairs remain at this point: Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd, Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas. As the Dancing With the Stars spoilers from ABC indicate, each of the finalists will dance twice on Monday’s episode. They will do a “redemption dance,” either a jazz, salsa, or quickstep, and each team will do their freestyle dance, as well.

Tuesday night’s finale will feature the “24-Hour Fusion Challenge” where Nyle, Ginger, and Paige will all have to work on a new piece that combines two dance styles, and they will have to put it together in just 24 hours. Tuesday’s show will also bring back all of the Dancing With the Stars contestants from earlier in the season to do quick performances, and there will be quite a few singers hitting the stage for some fun, as well.

Dancing With the Stars spoilers indicate that Ginger and Val will do a jazz on Monday to Coldplay’s “Adventure of a Lifetime,” and their freestyle will be to Nat King Cole’s “Orange Colored Sky.” Nyle and Peta are doing the quickstep to “S.O.B.” by Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, and their DWTS freestyle is to the Disturbed song “The Sound of Silence.”

As for Page and Mark, their DWTS redemption dance is the salsa to Pitbull’s “Fireball.” VanZant and Ballas will dance their freestyle to “Over the Rainbow” performed by B.C. Jean, Mark’s fiancee. Tuesday’s guest performers include Pitbull, Aloe Blacc, and Fifth Harmony, and Dancing With the Stars viewers will see a sneak peek of the tour Val and his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy have put together for this summer.

Which pair will take home the mirrorball trophy? As PureDWTS details, the determination will be made slightly differently this time around, as the scores from the semi-finals will be combined with the scores from the finals, along with viewer votes, to pin down the Season 22 winner. This is not the norm, and it could certainly escalate the buzz that has been swirling when it comes to DWTS producer manipulation this season.

Will it be Nyle and Peta, Paige and Mark, or Ginger and Val who takes home the trophy? Dancing With the Stars fans have been looking to this one being Nyle and Peta’s to lose for much of the season. However, Ginger and Val have gotten very positive feedback from the judges, and Paige and Mark have fought hard and performed very consistently.

Over at PureDWTS the speculation is that Zee and Chmerkovskiy likely end up in third place, and that VanZant and Ballas could take the win with a strong night of performances. However, a lot will ride on those redemption dances and freestyle performances coming during the May 23 episode. The fusion dances will factor into things as well, but in all likelihood, those will not end up changing the finishing order.
