Montesano, WA  - Myriah Moreland allegedly used the Skout website to exchange porn videos and photos of minors including her infant son. The Washington mother is accused of sharing child pornography material with Christopher Dupea of Spanaway, Washington, according to police report excerpts published by the New York Daily News.

Myriah Moreland, 20, allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations with Dupea via Skout, prompting website administrators to report the activity to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Moreland and Dupea moved their conversations about alleged child pornography from the Skout website to a text messaging platform, police reports also note.

The Skout administrators report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children initiated a full investigation by the Washington State Patrol’s Missing and Exploited Children Task Force. Even the most seasoned child pornography investigators were reportedly shocked and “appalled” by what they found on Myriah Moreland’s computer and cell phone, the New York Daily News reports.

During one alleged child pornography conversation between Christopher Dupea, 20, and Myriah Moreland, the young Washington mother reportedly stated she had performed sex acts on her a six-month-old son. KOMO News reports none of the police officers were prepared for the graphics photos they unearthed during the online child pornography investigation.

Washington State Patrol Lt. Ron Mead statement on the child pornography investigation:

“There were both images and videos that quite frankly are disturbing to say the least. Even some of our most tenured and seasoned detectives hadn’t seen images like those ever. I’m not going to go into the details because they are pretty revolting, to be quite honest. But suffice it to say, the photos depict activities that are reprehensible and are beyond belief.”

Washington mother Myriah Moreland was arrested on sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution and possession of child pornography charges. Moreland remains incarcerated at the Greys Harbor County Jail; her son was placed with Child Protective Services. The Washington Stae Patrol Missing and Exploited Children task force fears there may be more victims in the case. Christopher Dupea was booked on possession and distribution of child pornography and booked into the Pierce County Jail.
