‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Talks About The Sonja Morgan Fallout And Throws Shade At John Mahdessian Again

Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel said that she feels terrible about her fallout with Sonja Morgan. Bethenny stated that she wishes Morgan well, and hopes that her business idea takes off. At the same time, Bethenny said on her Bravo TV blog that she cannot apologize for the way she feels about the situation, and firmly believes that Sonja knew what she was doing when she selected her company’s name. Moving on to John, Frankel said that Mahdessian is ready for his designer dress, his RHONY tagline, and a regular check from Bravo after watching his confrontation with Ramona and Rey at the party.

On the last episode of RHONY, Frankel confronted Sonja about her company name and accused her of deliberately targeting her business. The fans were divided on how they felt about the argument. Many people felt that Morgan should have used another company name, but Bethenny’s speech to her was mean and unnecessarily harsh. Others felt that Frankel was right in her assessment of Sonja, and hopes she actually listened to what was said.

“Oh what a tangled web we weave. It was crazy to watch the evolution of my hustle from a CT supermarket to Union Square. The stakes are way higher, but the hustle is the same. Business is tough. I love what I do, and I am 100% invested, and it is my mission to help and inspire female entrepreneurs. This entails being honest about what it takes. Even now I struggle to make things work, and I have drive and determination, and I’m completely committed.”

Reality Tea revealed that the Skinnygirl creator stated that Sonja won’t have overnight success at her company’s level. She explained that it took time and effort to get the product on the shelves of Wal-mart and other stores. It takes building a brand and connecting with your customers to sell the merchandise once it is on the shelves of a major grocery store. When asked if she was concerned about Morgan being her competition, she explained that she cannot compete with Skinnygirl. They have protein shakes, cookies, candies, flavored waters, and multiple flavors of wine and vodka.

“The Sonja situation was just kind of sad. Obviously, her idea can’t touch my brand. There is no product or distribution. It is a made-for-television idea, and I have over 20 varieties of wine, vodka and ready to drink. You can’t find a city of the Housewives where several women haven’t followed in my footsteps and attempted booze. Bring it on. The more the merrier. It is a brutal business, and it may look easy, but as you see, it isn’t.”

Bethenny claims that Morgan used the show to promote a new idea that was created to bring conflict in the series. Like most of her other ideas, Frankel claims this one will go nowhere. She wishes her the best and hopes she is completely wrong in her assumption about Sonja and Tipsy Girl.

Frankel said the party scene between Rey, Ramona Singer, and John was out of control. She wasn’t sure why Singer wanted to talk to Luann’s ex-lover. While Bethenny agreed with Dorinda Medley and John’s call to toss Rey out of the party, it crossed so many lines when John waved his hand at Ramona.

“Not sure why Ramona wanted to speak with him but probably to get some dirt because where men and Luann are there may be some to dig up. I agreed with Dorinda that John was right to want to toss that pig from his party, but ever so wrong to wave his hands at Ramona and light that flame again.”
