Who’s performing?
This year’s Billboard performance line-up reads like a who’s who of everyone who’s big in music right now.

Currently scheduled to perform at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards are Rihanna, Meghan Trainor, Justin Bieber, DNCE, Kesha, The Go-Go’s, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendes, P!nk, Troye Sivan, Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ign, Nick Jonas and Tove Lo, and Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Billboard’s big show will also feature some very special performances from a number of musical legends.

Britney Spears will be receiving a special award on the night and will be opening the music award show with a “medley of hits” that will reportedly include some of her most popular tracks, including “Toxic” and “I’m A Slave 4 U.”

Celine Dion will also be making her first award show performance since the death of her husband, Rene Angelil, in January. Dion previously announced that she will be performing a cover of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On” for her late husband, admitting to People this week that “Rene always insisted the show must go on.”

Billboard also announced that Madonna will pay tribute to Prince at the music award show, where it’s assumed she’ll perform at least one of his many hits.

Who will win?
Though we’ll have to wait until the big show airs on May 22 to see who takes home the most awards, Billboard previously announced who will be walking away with special awards on the big night.

USA Today revealed earlier this month that Britney Spears will be honored with the Billboard Millennium Award, which has previously been bestowed upon just two artists, Beyoncé and Whitney Houston.

Celine Dion will also be receiving a very special Billboard Music Award on the night, as she’ll be taking home the ICON lifetime-achievement award for her lengthy career in music.

Billboard will also announce on May 22 who’s taking home the fan-voted Billboard Chart Achievement Award, which will go to either Adele, Drake, Little Big Town, Rihanna or The Weeknd.

What else is happening?
Not only will viewers see some of the biggest stars on the planet honored and performing at the big ceremony, there will also be a big surprise from Adele.

Billboard previously announced that this year’s Billboard Music Awards will also debut the brand new music video for Adele’s new single “Send My Love (To Your New Lover).”
