Calvin Harris Suffers ‘A Laceration To The Face’ In Car Crash [Report]

Calvin Harris was involved in what’s alleged to be a pretty serious car crash.

According to a new report by TMZ, Calvin Harris was reportedly involved in a collision on the evening of May 20, where he sustained “a laceration on his face” and was taken away from the scene in an ambulance.

The site claimed that Harris’ injuries were so bad that an ambulance arrived at the scene and took Calvin to a local hospital in Los Angeles, but alleged that Harris later opted to leave the medical center “against medical advice” after being told that there were no private rooms available.

TMZ is reporting that Calvin’s SUV vehicle collided with a convertible that was allegedly being driven by a 16-year-old girl and allegedly veered onto his side of the road late on the evening of May 20.

The site is claiming that the crash was so violent that one of the passengers in the other car was ejected from the vehicle and “suffered a broken pelvis” after reportedly travelling by sitting on someone else’s lap.

It is not thought that Harris’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was with the DJ when the incident occurred.

Calvin Harris is yet to officially speak out about the incident himself, though Harris’ team confirmed the accident on the DJ’s official Facebook page on May 21 and confirmed that the musician was on his way to the airport to catch a flight to Las Vegas for a performance at Omnia night club when the collision occurred.

Using Harris’ real forename, Adam, the Facebook post read the following.

“Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.”

After the news was confirmed by Harris’ team on his official social media page, a slew of social media users took to Twitter to wish Calvin well in his recovery.

“Hoping you’re okay and feel better soon! Sending good thoughts and prayers your way!” @BrkMeLikAPromis tweeted to Calvin, while @MinxLDN wrote on the social media site, “feel well soon again. Praying for your speedy recovery.”

“Wishing you a quick recovery, hope you and your team are okay” @knowplaceswift continued, and @belleswift17 tweeted out that they were “sending you a hug buddy… Get some rest and let your girl take care of you.”

“Get well soon [Calvin Harris]…. We all love you!!” @nicolefrank6 added on the social media site, and @tackthem tweeted to Calvin after the incident, “hope you’re ok. Praying for your recovery.”

Calvin’s road accident comes just one month after girlfriend Taylor Swift gushed about the DJ in a candid interview with Vogue, where Swift, who usually keeps her relationship with Calvin out of the spotlight, admitted that the two have a “magical relationship.”

Taylor even played coy about an upcoming wedding in the future, admitting in the interview that she’s looking to tie the knot with Harris someday.

“I’m just taking things as they come,” Taylor told Vogue of Calvin, shortly after she and Harris celebrated their one-year anniversary as a couple. “Of course I want it to be ours, and low-key,” Swift continued of a potential wedding, “this is the one thing that’s been mine about my personal life.”

Taylor’s gushing words over Calvin came shortly after Swift gave the public a rare glimpse into their personal life by sharing a slew of snaps from a recent romantic getaway on her official Instagram account, including a photo of the two kissing and their initials carved into the sand surrounded by a heart.
