Josh Duggar Works For His 17-Year-Old Brother, Jill Duggar’s Son Eats Bugs

Josh Duggar’s new life is much different from the one he enjoyed in Washington, D.C. The former Executive Director of the Family Research Council’s lobbying arm is back in Arkansas, and now his 17-year-old brother is his boss. Meanwhile, Josh’s younger sister is continuing to adjust to her new life in Central America, and Jill Duggar has discovered that her baby son Israel is the perfect solution to her pest problem. According to Jill’s latest mission trip update, Israel is catching and eating bugs.

As The Inquisitr previously reported, Josh Duggar is working for his family as a car salesman after being jobless for over six months — Josh had no cushy D.C. job to return to after spending half a year seeking treatment for sex addiction at a faith-based recovery center. This is because he was forced to resign from his position with the Family Research Council last summer after confessing to sexually molesting Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar, two other unnamed sisters, and another young girl as a teenager.

Luckily for Josh, his family was willing to let him work for their car-flipping side-business, and he already has experience selling automobiles; he owned a used car lot before he and Anna moved to Washington, D.C. However, according to Radar Online, Josh Duggar doesn’t get to be his own boss these days. The former 19 Kids and Counting star reportedly has to answer to his 17-year-old brother, Jedidiah, and Josh likely views his new position as his brother’s underling as major career downgrade from rubbing elbows with powerful politicians like Ted Cruz.

“Josh is just helping Jed,” a Duggar family insider revealed.

According to the Duggar Family Blog, the Duggars sell used cars on “a lot on a main highway” that Jim Bob purchased. Jinger Duggar claimed that she was also helping with the car-flipping business during an episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

Josh Duggar’s younger sister Jill is the only adult Duggar who isn’t helping out with the family businesses these days. As Fox News reports, Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, headed to Central America on a long-term mission trip last July. Jill revealed that she was one of Josh Duggar’s victims a few weeks before they departed, but she seemingly didn’t leave the country to escape her family’s sexual molestation scandal. According to Jessa, Jill and Derick had started planning their mission trip months before the Duggars’ dark past was uncovered.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s mission trip raised eyebrows because Jill had just given birth to their baby boy, Israel David Dillard, and the parents were taking him to a place that they have described time and time again as “dangerous.” Jill and Derick’s parenting came under intense scrutiny, making Jill the most scandal-plagued member of the Duggar family while Josh was away seeking sex addiction treatment. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Jill and Derick were criticized for sharing multiple photos of Israel with bruises on his face. In one of these pictures, the baby boy is playing next to uncovered electrical outlet. Jill and Derick also came under fire for snapping photos of Israel crying while tightly swaddled in a blanket.

The latest Israel-related controversy comes from Jill and Derick’s most recent mission trip update.

“We are now in the thick of rainy season, which means we can expect heavy showers almost daily as well as intermittent power loss,” Jill and Derick write on the Dillard Family website. “The showers bring LOTS of new creatures and insects from the jungle, but that’s not a problem because we also have a one year old who provides excellent service in the pest control department as his diet continues to expand.”

Jill and Derick seem to be suggesting that their baby boy eats bugs.

When Derick Dillard posted the photo below on Instagram, it caused an argument over whether the black spot on the floor next to Israel is a bug. Even if it isn’t, it sounds like Israel is having plenty of encounters with creepy-crawlies, and he’ll eat them off the floor if they get near his puffs.

Israel’s parents better pray that he never comes across any of those tarantulas and scorpions Derick previously blogged about.

Which do you think is weirder: Josh Duggar working for his underage brother, or Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard letting their son eat bugs? Sound off below.
