Kourtney Kardashian’s Beauty Regimen And Diet — Is It For You?


Kourtney Kardashian lives in the public eye, and she does her best to look her best all the time. And, let’s not forget that she’s a mother of three. It can be a bit tiresome to take care of your body if you have three kids running around the house. So, how does Kourtney do it? On her website, Kourtneykardashian.com, she lists all the ways in which she keeps fit and you will find certain usual and unusual means to do it. The list of what she eats is not limited to the fashionable high-protein, low-carb diet. It’s a whole mix of superfoods that she includes into her daily habits. Fennel seeds, turmeric, ghee, basmati rice, her daily dose of vitamin c in the form of lime juice, sesame seeds, ginger, cinnamon and more. It’s clear that Kourtney doesn’t hesitate in trying some age-old Ayurveda ingredients like turmeric and ghee.

Of ghee, she says, “Ghee is the first thing I put in my body every morning. I take one big teaspoon of ghee every morning, melt it on the stove in a pan and drink it out of a cute little ceramic white cup. After I take it, I don’t eat anything for 20 minutes, and then I drink a glass of water before eating food. In my kitchen, I only cook with ghee and coconut oil and try to incorporate it into my meals as much as possible. We make French toast, grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas and basically anything we can with ghee.” Kourtney adds that she loves the amazing flavor that comes out of cooking with ghee.

While there are certain ingredients Kourtney Kardashian knew were healthy, there were others she always had in her kitchen and knew nothing about. “I always had fennel seeds in my kitchen with all of my spices but never really used them until one day my friends Jaden, Moises and Mateo came over and got really excited about the fact that I had them in my kitchen. Jaden sprinkled some into all of our hands and we all started chewing them. They explained to me that they are so good for you and that they are basically like chewing gum and freshen your breath.” Do you think ghee and fennel seeds are for you?

Apart from the superfoods that Kourtney Kardashian swears by, there are certain dishes that Kourtney loves. Mac and Cheese with Turkey Bacon, Mexican Caesar Salad, Cinnamon Booty, Avocado Pudding, Protein Pancakes, and more. If you thought all of these are tasteless just because they are healthy, think again. Kourtney also loves the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread that she says is her mother’s recipe. Kourtney Kardashian admits she has a sweet tooth and she adores the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. She says she makes the bread with all-organic ingredients, which she obviously prefers because it’s all about healthy eating for Kourtney.

And it’s not just her diet that Kourtney Kardashian takes care of. She makes sure that she’s strict about her exercise regimen as well. Inquisitr had quoted E! News as saying that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star works with trainer Don Brooks. Don Brooks employs the Don-A-Matrix method, which keeps Kourtney in shape. “The Don-A-Matrix Method is set up to resemble a sports game format consisting of four quarters. Each quarter has 3 sets of two different exercises, combined with rest or relief periods after each quarter,” said Brooks. And the secret to never getting bored is making sure she brings a lot of variety into her workout.
