Jules Wainstein On ‘RHONY’ Women: ‘We All Need To Support One Another’

Jules Wainstein is new to The Real Housewives of New York, and she may not understand the dynamics between some of the ladies. In fact, Jules may not understand what has happened in the past with Sonja Morgan and her various business ventures. For many years, Sonja really wanted to launch many businesses, including her infamous toaster oven. Jules wants Bethenny Frankel to be supportive of Sonja. In fact, she wants all of the housewives to be supportive of one another.

According to a new Bravo report, Jules Wainstein is now sharing her thoughts about this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York. And Wainstein explains that she thinks Dorinda Medley did the right thing in leaving the party. While she could have blamed Ramona Singer for showing up to a party where she wasn’t invited, Wainstein reveals that it is never okay for a man to put his hand in a woman’s face.

“So I’m gonna agree with my dear friend Dorinda: A person’s actions might be correct and well-intentioned, but when you are reactive without thinking things through, it undermines your actions,” Jules Wainstein explained, adding, “A man should never let another man be crude and disrespectful to any women (or men) at his party, but a man should also never aggressively put a hand anywhere close to a woman’s face or body. But people can be reactive, and people make mistakes.”

Of course, Ramona and Dorinda’s relationship is a bit strained these days thanks to John Mahdessian. Medley just wants the other ladies to accept him as her boyfriend, but it’s proving to be quite the challenge. Singer can’t seem to look past his bad behavior, and she can’t just accept that her friend really loves him. And Jules Wainstein is just staying neutral in this argument, as she just wants to see her co-star happy.

While she doesn’t go into details about the Sonja scandal with Frankel, she does want to highlight the lack of support in this group. Jules wants her co-stars to support one another, so she would like to see Bethenny support Sonja in this new business venture. Wainstein even hints that she would have loved to see Bethenny mentor Sonja in this new booze venture.

“We all need to support one another — mothers, sisters, friends, women in business, women on the street, women in the powder room, women at the grocery store, women on the Internet. I love watching Sonja take a bold leap into a new business venture and wish her and every other female entrepreneurs all the success in the world! There is no monopoly on success or happiness, and I still believe that imitation is the highest form of flattery, so why not mentor one another, support one another, encourage one another? Let’s make ourselves relevant by lifting each other up, not shaming each other down. We may not all be Dora the Explorer or Mickey Mouse, but we are all doing our best,” Jules Wainstein reveals on her blog.

It is very interesting that Wainstein is talking about women supporting women and them doing the best they can. On The Real Housewives of New York, Jules has showcased her New York apartment, and her Hamptons home, which has been under renovations for years. According to a new Radar Online report, Jules and her husband, Michael Wainstein, actually filed for bankruptcy back in 2004. Apparently, the couple had no cash and no financial accounts with the bank. It sounds like they have been able to get back on track since then.

What do you think of Jules Wainstein wanting the ladies to support one another? Do you think that is a realistic wish?
