‘Days Of Our Lives’: Thaao Penghlis Says Andre DiMera Still Has Enormous Rage [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans thought Hope Brady was in the clear when Andre DiMera was arrested. However, things may turn dark now that Aiden Jennings is alive and Andre may get out of prison. Actor Thaao Penghlis says that Andre still has “enormous” rage over his imprisonment and the real killer getting away with murdering Stefano DiMera.

Stefano DiMera died when Hope Brady shot the Salem villain. Under normal circumstances, Hope would have kept her cool. However, at the time, she was going through a lot of mental anguish. She finally snapped and shot Stefano. However, that wasn’t all. Rafe Hernandez ended up helping Hope get away with it. They disposed of the body and tried to make everyone think Stefano just left town.

However, Andre DiMera was not fooled. Despite trying to find out the truth and prove Hope killed Stefano, Rafe framed Andre for the murder. He is now sitting in prison, but he will get out soon.

Recently, Aiden Jennings returned to Salem and he is alive. It turns out it wasn’t Aiden who tried to kill Hope, but someone the DiMera’s hired that looked just like him. Fast forward to the present and Andre wants to strike a deal with Aiden. In exchange for getting him out of prison, Andre will back up Aiden’s crazy story. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, it was revealed what is going through Andre’s mind.

“The main thing on Andre’s mind is getting out of prison. Andre has done some bad things in his past, but he didn’t kill his father,” Thaao Penghlis told Soap Opera Digest. in the May 18 issue of the magazine. “He knows who did it and they are getting away with it. So, Andre uses Aiden, giving the promise that he won’t [testify] against Hope. But there is still an enormous rage in Andre, because Stefano was in a wheelchair and [was] murdered in cold blood.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, a Days Of Our Lives casting call revealed the soap opera is looking for a female prison inmate. Described as tough and between the ages of 30 and 55, the episodes will begin taping in June. That means the inmate will first appear to viewers in the late fall of 2016. Could Hope end up going to prison for killing Stefano? Will Kristian Alfonso’s storylines go from Salem to inside a prison cell?

Soap Central reported a few DOOL spoilers for next week. Those include a former couple heating things up again, which is probably referring to Shawn and Belle. Also, an old love might cause “grave problems” for a new relationship. That seems to be regarding Aiden, Hope and Rafe. As for new romance storylines, expect one young person to have a crush. That was speculated to be Ciara starting to have feelings for Chad.

As for Hope and Aiden, the DOOL spoilers state that a con might go wrong for one character who will end up too deep. This has to be concerning Aiden and Andre, but who is the con? Is Andre really the bad guy this time or is Aiden the one doing the conning? Could Hope get hurt once Andre is released from prison? Will Andre force Aiden to hurt the woman he loves? Or will Aiden do something deadly in order to get his former bride back in his arms?
