Jeffree Star Shades Kylie Jenner Amid His Own Lipstick Drama

Jeffree Star and Kylie Jenner are going head-to-head again in the name of makeup. The former MySpace star and original wearer of pink wigs has taken to Twitter to slam the Instagram starlet in a series of aggressive tweets.

The makeup artists and cosmetics entrepreneur has already voiced his opinion on Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits last month. Star commented about Jenner’s faulty lip gloss brushes, which prompted Jenner to re-ship newly packaged lip glosses to her customers “free of charge.” On Wednesday night, May 18, Star took to Twitter once again to slam the teen’s cosmetics brand once again.

He remarked that his line of liquid lipsticks are better than Kylie’s lip glosses. Star wrote, “I mean… Formula vs. Name,” but later deleted the tweet. Star then proceeded to throw some more shade at Kylie in blatant fashion.

“Incase anyone forgot: I don’t sugar coat a motherf***ing thing. I’m 15 years in the makeup game… These fake hoes come and go every year. I have internet immortality. REAL b****** don’t go anywhere. I don’t give a f*** if you’re famous or not. The PRODUCT is either great or bad. And I’ll never lie to my followers and customers. (SIC)”

Kylie has not responded even though she’s never really directly responded to his tweets before. Despite the criticism behind her lip kits, they still sell out within minutes of a release or restock. Both Kylie and Jeffree seem to be doing well in their own right. Kylie just restocked her matte lipsticks, glosses, and metal lipsticks on Thursday, May 19, while Jeffree is expanding his cosmetics empire with his first-ever makeup palette, out on May 25.

Many fans will be happy to see Jeffree Star’s new eyeshadow palette, according to Seventeen. The kit, called Beauty Killer, has all of the pretty pastel and bold colors you ever wanted in a palette. There are 10 shades in the palette, including frosted, matte, and glitter shadows, and it only costs $45.

Jeffree Star took to his Instagram and YouTube account to make the announcement about his Beauty Killer palette.

However, rumors have been swirling about Jeffree Star’s Velour Liquid Lipstick. Everyone’s been wondering when he will release his new neon baby pink shade. Well, according to his Twitter, you will have to wait until July.

Jeffree first teased the new Velour Liquid Lipstick color in his latest YouTube video. Though he didn’t outwardly mention it, some of his fans picked up on the hot new color. Then Jeffree took to Twitter to confirm that the color he’s wearing in the video is a new shade that’s coming out in July.

In addition, Jeffree Star Cosmetics is also releasing metallic liquid lips, giving Kylie Jenner and her lip kits a run for her money. A second rumor floating claims that the formula in Jeffree Star’s Velour Liquid Lipsticks could be changing. According to Bustle, the Velour Liquid Lipsticks could become satin lipsticks.

The rumor started on the Jeffree Star Updates Instagram page, which is a fan page that’s not associated with the official Jeffree Star Cosmetics brand. In a recent post, it hinted that Jeffree Star Cosmetics will be releasing some of his popular Velour colors as satin lipsticks for his Lip Ammunition line.

Fans can find more information about the Lip Ammunition line on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website. Neither Jeffree Star, nor his brand have responded to this rumor.
