‘Survivor’ News: Tai Reacts To Sia’s Huge Announcement Last Night

Last night on the big Survivor finale, everyone was shocked to see Sia stand up in the audience and speak out to Tai. The singer revealed that she is a big fan and wanted to do something for him. Tai did not win Survivor: Kaoh Rong, but because of Sia, he didn’t go home empty-handed either. Entertainly Weekly got the chance to talk to Tai and find out exactly what he thought of Sia showing up to help him out on Survivor last night.

During the finale of Survivor, Tai did not win one vote from the jury, but he won over Sia. She was at the big live finale last night and watching from the audience. Jeff Probst started talking about Tai and how many fans he had from the show. Tai talked about how the kids love him and people are always coming up to him.

All of a sudden, someone started to yell at Jeff from the Survivor audience. It turned out that it was Sia. She started talking in the audience, and Jeff had her come up on stage so she would have a mic and everyone could hear what she had to say. Jeff shared that she is a fan of Survivor, and they met because of it. She then explained that she was giving him $50,000 and also $50,000 to give to his favorite animal charity. Last night on Survivor, Tai wasn’t sure what to say.

Tai was shocked when Sia came up on the stage. He shared exactly what he thought about it.

“Oh my God, it was amazing, I was in shock. I said, ‘What’s happening? I’m still answering.’ And then Sia was on. It’s just crazy. I didn’t recognize who she was, but I know her music. And I so appreciate it, and she gave me $50,000 for the animals. I said, ‘Yes, that’s good, to bring awareness to the animals, and all life really, awareness of not being so human-centric.’ And she said, ‘I’ve been watching the show, I’m a huge fan,’ and that I’m one of her favorites because of who I am. I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is crazy.'”

Tai explained that when Sia came on the stage, he didn’t know who she was from looks, but he does know her music. Tai doesn’t normally watch music videos. Tai also shared the fate of Mark the chicken after the game.

“I could not bring Mark home. My neighbor would’ve killed me or called the cops on me. I asked Jeff to find a good home for him, so Mark stayed with production, and he was the production’s mascot. Everyone let him walk around on location, and I think one day he was just tired of that thing and he lived out his years, so I think he went back to chicken heaven now. He’s no longer with us. But he lived a great life, and he was part of the tribe; he left his legacy behind.”

EW also revealed what Jeff Probst had to say about Sia coming on stage and how shocked he was when it happened. Jeff shared that he knows Sia as his friend and not as a singer. Jeff said she is a kind soul and cares about everyone being treated equally. She actually came over to Jeff’s house to watch at least one episode of the show. Jeff noticed that she matched the $100,000 amount that they used to give to fan favorites, but did it in her own way. Sia has also become friends with John Cochran since his season of the show ended.
